   Very impressed. About 2 years since I was last there the good was excellent. I had a prawn Marie rose sandwich on brown. Absolutely stuffed with filling, side salad, coleslaw, crisps. My friend v had had a portion of chips alongside a cream & jam scone. Food was excellent arrived quite quickly. the staff were excellent.

   First time visitor, with my lady friend, to the Elsecar Heritage Centre. Fancied some food. Looked at the Pantry menu but decided to walk further on and arrived the Brambles Tea room. I ordered a Latte, a scone with butter and jam (had no clotted cream left) and my favourite tomato soup with roll. We sat outside. Young waitress came outside 'dropped ' a tray on our table and walked away. My coffee and scone were there along with a tinned drink for my lady. She had to go back inside and ask for cutlery, jam and a glass for her drink.The scone was extremely dry. My soup and my ladies food arrive. The soup looked yellowish and I asked the waitress if it was tomato soup. She stated tomato soup made with cream. I do not think a tomato had been near the soup. My partner tasted it and agreed with me. Left the majority of it. Told waitress it was awful. She said nothing. Compared a photo from the website of the soup and mine certainly did not look the same. Will certainly not be visiting again. Phil.

   Enjoyed a nice cooked breakfast. Service was good, food of a decent quality, and not badly priced. A bit more contemporary than when I was last here. The sweet items looked terrific. Maybe next time. Dog friendly by the look of things.

   What a love place. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is top quality and delicious and the very talented Baristas coffee was 'To Die for.' Thank you for a perfect end to our fabulous day.

   Called in for coffee. Ordered 3 different types. (They got the order wrong - twice). Machinery looked impressive. However what was served went like this - from bean, to cup, to one sip, to bin. The product is vile. The worst coffee we’ve ever tasted - if they gave it away for free we’d refuse it. Was it us ? No, others that we’re in the queue with us were doing exactly the same - binning their once sipped coffees. Not a good situation for a business to be in as people just won’t return. The equipment looked very professional but obviously something is wrong - maybe the beans or a scenario of all the gear & no idea. Hate leaving bad reviews but we’ve had better cheap spray dried coffee than what was provided !

   Really nice tea room, provided a welcome break from the heat when I was at the heritage centre for comic con this weekend. Had a really great vegan burger and pepsi Max. Was just what I needed.

   Very bad and poor service. I was here for the first time this afternoon, and in their defense I can only say that they were very busy, being a sunny Sunday morning. Very expensive considering the poor quality of service and food/drink they offer. Spent more than £16 for three “latte” and two brownies. The latte was disgusting, basically just milk. There was no price list, which made everything even more annoying and suspicious. Last time.
