   In late February 2024 I and a friend visited HSL Stockport to look at their Rise and Recline Chairs as I was thinking of purchasing one. We were warmly wecomed by a very bubbly but knowledgeable Debs who asked how she could help. We discussed my mobility issues and she very knowledgeably measured me for a suitable Rise and Recline Chair. Whilst this process was taking place a co-worker very kindly offered us a drink of our choice during which all the details of a purchase were discussed. I was then able to chose the covering material from the wide range of choice on offer. Throughout these procedures Debs was extremely helpful and professional and this continued with the delivery and installation of my new chair by HSL employees six weeks later.

   Bought a chair 18 months ago. Fabric faded. Seat so uncomfortable it gave sores. The engineer who came to inspect the chair deemed it comfortable after sitting in it less than one minute. Unlike elderly people who sit for long periods of time. Replaced it with another dual motor chair. A third of the price and comfortable from normal furniture retailer. Absolute waste of money.

   I would highly recommend this company / we have received excellent customer service from everyone we encountered . Initially there was no pushy sales pitch from the sales staff and they were so lovely as my grandchildren escorted myself and my mother to the Stockport branch . Everything was explained expertly and everything that was promised was done on time . Amazing delivery staff as well .    Really helpful staff, not pushy, pointed out some of the issues with the way the mother in law is sitting, but just indicated issues it might lead to without telling her she had to change. Gave clear information on the various options available and even an indication of lead times if we did want to order.
