We bought a bed off Andrew last year, quality workmanship. If you're at all interested in the process as much as the finished article, it's well worth popping into the workshop in Pott Shrigley. We'll hopefully be using his services again very soon. Great bloke too. We bought another bed off Andrew just recently (March 2022). The craftsmanship and delivery was first rate.

Please can anyone help me out with where Andrew is now based? I paid a deposit back in March for furniture which I have not received, and as per the comments on here the communication is shocking . I did receive an email in August to say they had moved premises but no reply when I asked where they had gone. I want to lodge a claim in the small claims court but can't do this without contact information. Thank you everyone.

I bought a nest of tables and a bookcase from Andrew in 2014 and they were delivered quickly and were well made. I am still happy with them. I ordered 2 bedside cabinets in Feb 2020 expecting them to be delivered quickly again, especially as communication from Andrew was good and he said when he was expecting to deliver them, even despite lockdown. Then communication deteriorated. I heard nothing for months despite me emailing and calling (leaving messages) for updates. I gave the benefit of the doubt due to lockdown but then I did start getting replies. I was fobbed off saying he was just finishing the cabinets and they would be delivered soon, but of course they weren't. Eventually after a year I went through the money claims online process which Andrew didn't reply to. Andrew then had a CCJ for the money that he owed me. I contacted Andrew again to make him aware and he replied within a couple of hours. He then sent me the 2 bedside cabinets and they arrived a few days later. However, they were badly damaged when they arrived (2 broken drawers, the back had fallen off and the top had a large crack in it). I spoke to Andrew and Glynnis about this (I sent pictures as well) and they spoke to the courier. Unfortunately the insurance didn't cover the damage so Andrew said he would make new cabinets (I was willing to accept 2 new drawers and the back and top be fixed). Andrew said that he would deliver them as he was making another big delivery near me (he mentioned a dinning table, chairs and some unit) so I was hopeful it would all be sorted out. I am still waiting for these more than 6 months later. Andrew did send me an email during this time with a lot of excuses as to why he hadn't delivered them (someone broke into his van and his planer motor blew), but I still haven't received them despite me sending several emails asking for updates. I started another MCOL process, Andrew got another CCJ and I now have a warrant of control. When the bailiffs went to Andrew's business address the bailiffs were not able to locate him and his landlord said that he left the premises in June 2021. Be very careful when dealing with this company. After the work Andrew did for me in 2014 I was confident using him again but I would not recommend using him after my last order that has dragged on for 18 months so far.

Saw all the bad reviews and thought "How bad can it be?" Well I am awaiting a refund for a purchase not fulfilled from 4 months ago. No communication for weeks, then an email from "Glynnis" purporting various reasons for the delay (that I had seen reported in other reviews previously). Was promised an update a week later but nothing came. Deadline given and passed, refund requested, bank contacted and still no reply. Doesn't answer the phone, literally takes months to reply to emails and I am currently out of pocket with no sign of a wardrobe or a refund. I'm not sure if it's devious or just incompetence, but it's really not worth the hassle.

We ordered a round table, 6 chairs, a TV unit and a tall storage unit with three drawers. They are fantastic and we highly recommend Andrewβs furniture. We did have to wait a little longer than originally promised but it was well worth the wait. The table was a custom order and we are delighted with the outcome.

One star given for very poor communication and run around. Wife ordered a chest of drawers at end of March 2019. No communication at all for over a month. Tried calling, texting and emailing with no response. Finally decided to start proceedings in July which cost me Β£35 online. Two hours after finalising the process I got a text from Glynis his wife, apologising saying it was her fault delaying Andrew. Seems like a two man blame fest. Can't Andrew talk for himself, or text back in a timely manner? Cancelled proceedings and carried on waiting for chest. More weeks go by with no response yet again, then the excuses of moving units, can't hear mobile whilst working, new phone not working. Then they give intermittent messages saying it will be delivered on one day, no chest arrives, then another day, no show because Glynis was ill, no messages to say not coming, then another day set up and still no chest and no response at all to my text or email. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ANDREW, JUST SPEAK TO US OR TEXT OR EMAIL!!!!! So yet again I go online and set up proceedings to get my money back and lo and behold a day later I get an email, funny that, do you see the pattern? Being told that he has booked the courier for this Friday 27th September. Hey what about letting me know if I'm available to take delivery before booking. So have had to email the courier company to say we wont be home until later next week. Luckily they were very quick to come back to say no problem. Phew! Just Β£70 out of pocket because of lack of communication. I did ask Andrew to reimburse me the last fee as recompense for his total lack of customer service, but looks like I'm not going to get it. So no more orders from me ever again. He has lost a customer and received a poor review. Lets see if the chest does arrive. I'm not cancelling the proceedings until the chest arrives. Just a note to say that a couple of years ago I ordered a wardrobe from Andrew, no problems at all, but this time things have gone downhill in the communication department, so if you order something be prepared to not hear a thing but you will eventually get the item which will be well made. Update to above review. Have now received the chest of drawers but Courier service delivered on original date not the later date so even they leave a lot to be desired. Chest of drawer great, BUT NO REFUND OF THE Β£35 AS PROMISED IN FINAL EMAIL!!!
