Had problems with an order I did online. I visited the store and a worker called Jazz really went out of her way for me. There’s nothing better than customer service that goes above and beyond!! It was quite a complex problem but she dealt with it efficiently and had it sorted the same day! Thankyou!

I bought a phone from Argos and went back the very next day to return it because it was faulty — well within the return period and guarantee. Despite that, I was treated extremely badly. I went to two different stores and called customer service twice, but no one helped me. At one store, a staff member actually walked away in the middle of talking to me and never came back. Another told me to “run away” instead of dealing with my return. They refused to take back the faulty phone or offer any solution. I’ve never experienced such rude and unprofessional service. I’m now stuck with a broken phone and no support. Very disappointed — Argos needs to improve its customer service and treat customers with respect.

I would avoid this store. The female staff at this store are the most unhelpful retail staff I have ever come across. There’s a woman with brown hair, wears glasses and is quite round- who is pathetic beyond belief! So unhelpful and asked me to purchase a product so that I could simply look at it. When I asked if I could open it in the store she said no and if it doesn’t get back into the box they won’t refund me. I didn’t bother purchasing but I’ll be sure to report her to head office. This is probably the worst Argos store I have ever been to. I avoid it like the plague! I recommend you avoid it too!

Returning a faulty Iron after around six weeks of ownership. Told I need to contact the manufacturer and they won’t let me even exchange it. Had to buy a new one from another retailer. My rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: • Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. • If a product becomes faulty within the first 6 months, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund — and it is the retailer’s responsibility, not the manufacturer’s.

terrible customer service went there tonight to return item that was wrong item. first i was told item was packed right in the box even though it was wrong item given to us. then told the item we had was no longer in stock so the one i was returning would be a replacement. still wouldnt take the item back so we had to walk out. my partner then went back in and bought the item that we were told wasnt in stock???? when my partner went in the rude women was gossiping about us about how she wouldnt take item back to someone else. well hope she reads this now as she has given argos a great review tonight. no wonder there was nobody in the shop :)

The staff are jobsworths, patronising & accuse innocent customers of stealing. The most horrible shopping experience ever. The way they treat honest, paying customers is appalling, they should all be sacked

The staff are jobsworths, patronising & accuse innocent customers of stealing. They are not friendly or helpful in the slightest. They're on about 9.50 an hour, hate their jobs and take it out on the customers. I bought some batteries, online using my Argos card, these batteries were 5 pounds. Yet the amount of security checks they wanted to do, you would have thought it was an X - Box series X or PS5. Anyway, I paid for these batteries online then went to pick them up the next day. I presented the confirmation email on my phone with the order number, 4 digit PIN and my full driving license with my photo on it. That wasn't good enough, she wanted the Argos card too, when I told them that I'd forgot my card and it'd be a major inconvenience going home and getting it (traffic, petrol, time etc.) the miserable CHAV of a woman developed a right attitude & told me that I could have just found the bag with the ID in it & I could be trying to steal these batteries (over 2 cheap watch batteries?! really? And have I stole the phone too with the confirmation email? Where's the common sense?) Anyway, I went home, got the card and went back - I wasn't happy and told I them. Some dude with glasses told me not to bother shopping there again. Like I'd ever want to.

Recently bought my Oculus Quest 2 from here, ordered online and received a code instantly. Went down and collected my order with no fuss. Free parking outside and friendly staff.
