Smashed my tv while delivering. Unfortunately didn’t realise the level of the damage till later as it’s smashed on the interior. As you can see the delivery person delivered the large items solo. Improper manual handling protocols followed. Yet when proved all evidence ikea won’t take responsibility and try forward me onto the delivery company who they have outsourced the job too. They also deny any responsibility as the delivery driver has denied this. However it is clear in photos below how this has happened. Ikea however also do have a responsibility as I booked the delivery directly with them, however they have refused to help.

IKEA packed a broken box, that was delivered to our home in central Manchester. The items were packed in a cardboard-box so large it exceeded the maximum size accepted to use the free of charge service for returning items. The YODL-return drop off-point suggested closest To our downtown Manchester-address M1 1AU, was on LE3 3DS in Leicester, 118km from our home. The damage did not occur during delivery, as an impact heavy enough to cause it, would have destroyed the cardboard shipping box, that arrived without and damage whatsoever. Essentially, IKEA UK made it impossible for me to return the broken item they sent me via any offered online services, and I can’t go to a store to return it, which is why we bought it online. Last time I shop online from IKEA in the UK, and I come from Sweden, where I have bought IKEA items online without a single issue, for decades. Well done guys. Your last chance to save face is to contact me here. Order number: 1552656767 . Please just send me a complimentary box, that is not destroyed. You have my details.

Yes it's true, ikea is a damn maze and I'm sure if they really searched around, they'd find several missing persons. Ikea is superb for offering a glimmer of inspiration to your new home or your existing one. Theres just so much to see and buy. Anything you see can be found in the warehouse. They're a huge food canteen serving low priced meals and mini shop selling frozen versions of their meals. We very much enjoyed our vist.

I love this place! The staff is not very friendly but the overall experience was amazing! Everything is easy to find. The bistro has a bit of a line so just make sure you come in time if you’re hungry. The food is great though!

We arrived early to try their breakfast spread. They open at 10 AM, and it was already bustling when we got here, even though we arrived early. The showroom layout is quite organized, but it'll take a bit of getting used to since it's split across three levels. My only wish is that there were more restrooms available between the different sections.

Quite disappointing, they are not keeping up the normal standards of cleanliness and options of a normal IKEA store, the toilets were filthy, going back to them a few hours later and noting that a staff member had signed that they had inspected them they were still so, and several parts of the store had not been faced up or organised correctly, the soda fountain in the entry area was not functional so that you weren’t able to order the β€œsoda and hotdog deal” and in the restaurant there was only one cashier, creating a very long line and wait for service. On check out, there were only 2 staff members @checkout and no self checkout option. Meaning the wait was around 15 minutes to check out. I generally love IKEA, but the experience in this store was poor.

Amazing place for the whole family grab some food in the restaurant starting with meatballs and chips that are one of a kind. Through the maze of awesome products and in the end at the warehouse if you and your kids want to misbehave you can ride on top of the flatbed trolleys. In conclusion IKEA Manchester is the place to be for shopping and a way to have a nice day out.

IKEA is a huge place where wonders happen. Loved the vibes, chill and comfortable walking along the guided route from showroom 1 to 28. Got everything we need, enjoyed shopping and seeing things around, spent 2 hours here, was a bit rush at the end of the trip, should have spent more time here if I have imagined to stay at IKEA for longer on the itinerary.

I have not stepped foot in an IKEA since I was probably ten, and I have clearly been missing out. What an experience. I never realised the sheer expanse of items and storage that it offered! I spent over Β£60 within a blink of the eye. Will definitely be coming back for more, could easily spend all day here.

Incredibly disappointed when my family and I went for a light lunch in the food area on the lower level. The stark difference between the immaculate showrooms and the area where food is, was rather shocking. It is quite certain that a health inspector would raise serious concerns here. I asked one of the personnel to let a supervisor or manager know and was simply told that she doesn't know who to speak to and carried on with no further attempts to correct the situation.
