Went for Sunday lunch on what happened to be a quiet day due to a certain world cup match. Regardless of this the food was impeccable and great value for money, we also appreciated that we didn't feel awkward even though we were one of the only tables. Staff were all lovely and the interior was really nice too!
Booked a table for my family to celebrate a birthday. We were allowed to take our own cake although we did have deserts! Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding is amazing with chunks of cinder toffee! We'll certainly be back and thoroughly recommend.

Had a delicious meal of fish and chips at the Fox & Hounds. The fish was so fresh, and it came with homemade tartar sauce, chips and mushy peas. The chips were perfectly cooked and slightly crunchy, might have had a light batter to give them the edge to standard pub chips!
Only had one visit here, and for a few quid more than a chain pub burger your getting quality 10x more. Its a lovely little pub/restaurant in a stunning village. I look forward to visiting in the summer time where they have outside seating available.
Really great place, we were immediately welcomed by lovely staff and were quickly served drinks, they also served the most lovely bread to start and our food quickly followed, the presentation was amazing and the food was extremely delicious same with the dessert. Also couldn't be happier with the covid safety measures with glass screens between tables and staff wearing visors. Would definitely recommend.
We have been coming here for a few years now and every time it is perfection! We love coming here and wish we lived closer - we'd be here every Sunday! We love everything about this place, the delicious food, the atmosphere and friendly staff and superb value for money. We had black pudding, scallops for starter, roast chicken and roast beef dinners and we both had the apple & rhubarb crumble & custard. It was all so delicious and perfectly presented. Looking forward to coming back soon!
