    Ordered bank holiday just gone but had to wait a while about 4th September but will let me know. Saturday just gone knock on door bed for ya n brought it but hadn’t got rid of old one as wasn’t aware of delivery which lad replied not again previous job gone wrong n weren’t very happy. Put casters on instead of others. Ordered pillows which never arrived called Nigel n said be with you Sunday about one no show. Spoke to Joseph this morning but he knew nothing n pillows I ordered run out not happy says can have softer ones which no good as ordered bed on medical grounds. Went here on a recommendation but won’t be going back.

    We have used Atkins Beds at Unsworth Pole Whitefield many times not just for ourselves but other family members and always been happy with the products and customer service. Unfortunately on this occasion our experience is totally the opposite. Will keep it as short as possible but hopefully you will be wiser about the now NONE CUSTOMER SERVICE . 1 Month ago we phoned Atkins Beds to inform them of a problem with our Mattress. All seemed straightforward as we had already spoken to the Mattress Manufacturers they confirmed that the Mattress was still well within warranty and that they will arrange with Atkins to deliver a replacement. We tried to have several telephone conversations with Atkins and when we did finally get hold of them so many different stories were told. We were told that the Owner Nigel will phone us to arrange delivery Obviously this didn't happen. So long story short .3 and half weeks later we ended up having to go to Atkins Beds because they were not picking up our calls. Last Thursday we were told that the Mattress had arrived and would be delivered to us Saturday morning. After lunch still no phone call to let us know what time they will be arriving. By 4.30 finally picked by Nigel the owner just to say he will phone us back again shortly to sort out delivery for Sunday. Yesterday again stripped the bed down and again waited patiently for delivery. We were told to phone to check what the we could expect it. Well seems logical to us but not Nigel because he doesn't pick up his phone.After leaving several voicemails he finally did phone to say very abruptly that the Mattress is on the van and will be delivered today. His last words to us was I will call you back when I've spoken to the driver as to what time slot we are. Well surprise surprise 4 hours later still no phone call and we had been trying him too but he doesn't pick up. At 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon after leaving several voicemails for Nigel to call us back he did . Now this time was what I was told is your Mattress is on the Van it will be delivered and don't phone me again and abruptly slammed the phone down. I am totally and utterly disgusted with the service we have just experienced with Him also as to the arrogance rudeness and unprofessional manner of this so called man. Talk about keeping small local businesses going he doesn't deserve it. Never again will we recommend or use Atkins Beds.

    I ordered a mattress which turned out to be too hard. The delivery guys were great and got it upstairs no problem. After 6 weeks of terrible nights sleep, enough was enough, we needed a new mattress. Nige organised for his lads to come and collect the first one and deliver my new one..very kind, helpfull

    Ordered a mattress from the lady who talked a good job and it was delivered as promised, However, even though we had removed all ornaments and pictures apart from one, which the delivery men assured us would be ok, they somehow managed to send it crashing down the stairs breaking the frame and damaging the bureau at the bottom. They scarpered pretty quickly, so when we went into the bedroom, we found that they had left the mattress standing against the wardrobe door. they eventually came back later that day, but neither apologised or offered to get the damage repair. when confronting the owner, although he did apologise, he gave the impression that it was our hard luck! I'm afraid they will not get my recommendation.

    Ordered a mattress they had in stock for delivery the following week. Arranged a morning delivery so ensued someone was home. By lunchtime when no delivery had arrived, I called and was advised the mattress was on the van so we waited the rest of the day but no delivery or call to advise of any issues. There was no attempt to deliver at a later date or even call me to say there was a problem or apologise. We have used Atkins Beds in the past but will definitely not use again.

    I have never experienced customer service like this. Visited shop and was told somebody would call me back to confirm delivery the following week, nobody did so I called the shop and spoke to somebody who was so rude. I had obviously been given incorrect information in the shop which I understand happens but the lady on the phone gave me so much attitude and even suggested I take my business elsewhere - so I did.
