   I turned up with a puncture that wouldn’t hold for very long. Callum at the Tyre Technicians said they were able to look at it straight away for me, they showed me where the puncture was and showed me I was approaching the legal limit on my tread anyway. So I asked if they had any tyres in my size available, they had various tyres and one to suit my budget there and then. I was really impressed with the speed and how accommodating they were. With the facility of a waiting room and hot drink. The whole process was done within 20 minutes. Brilliant! I will definitely be using them again and recommending them. Thanks guys!

   DISCRIMINATORY AND UNPROFESSIONAL If I truly left “happy,” why did I return twice asking you to fix damage caused during my visit? And if it wasn’t your fault, why agree to repair it twice — poorly? All I asked was for the skirt to be put back as it was. Instead, I was met with denial, false claims, and mocking remarks — including repeated, dismissive references to my car as a “replica.” That attitude has no place in professional service. I’ve shared an honest, documented experience, backed by photos and three recorded calls (with yourself Callum James) confirming my clear and polite request. You had my number but chose to argue publicly rather than resolve it. Telling me not to contact you again was not about resolution — it was about avoiding responsibility. This business has been defensive, rude, and argumentative throughout. My review stands. I won’t comment further. I suggest others look elsewhere — such as Just Tyres, Lode Lane, Solihull. Update: Business Response Since leaving my review, the business replied publicly in a way that was dismissive, defensive, and unprofessional. Instead of addressing the actual issue, they focused on discrediting me personally, referred to my vehicle as a “replica” in a sarcastic tone, and even questioned whether the photo I provided was of my own car despite it clearly showing identifying features. To clarify: my side skirt was fully intact, aligned, and secure before the visit. The damage occurred while the car was in their care, during lifting. Their claim that it “fell off” on its own is simply not credible. I never said they weren’t at fault — I only agreed to a repair on the condition that it be returned to how it was prior to the damage. That was never done properly, despite two follow-up visits. I also never requested a “professional repair,” as they falsely claimed. I simply asked that the skirt be reattached properly which did not happen. Their attempt to shift blame, point fingers at the condition of my car, and avoid accountability is concerning. Regardless of the vehicle type, any professional garage should treat a customer’s car with care and respect. Their response focused more on defending themselves and undermining my credibility than resolving the matter. My review remains accurate, backed by clear photo evidence, and reflects both the poor workmanship and the way they handled the situation. Negligent and Unprofessional – AVOID THIS BUSINESS I brought my car to The Tyre Technicians in Solihull for a simple tyre balancing issue, and they damaged my side skirt during the service. The skirt was fully intact, properly aligned, and securely fitted before the visit. The damage occurred only after their work on the vehicle. They acknowledged the damage and attempted an on-the-spot fix using double-sided tape, which failed almost immediately. I returned, and they tried again with cheap sealant, which also failed the next day. Photos taken before and after the visit clearly show the original condition and the poor quality of both attempted repairs. At no point was an apology offered. I was treated with disrespect and dismissiveness on both occasions. Instead of taking proper responsibility, they tried to deflect blame by falsely claiming missing clips — even though the side skirt was undamaged and properly fitted beforehand. This is a clear breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states that services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. Their conduct not only failed to meet this legal standard, but also shows a lack of professionalism and integrity. I will be reporting this incident to Trading Standards and have documented the full situation with photos and dated records. If you value your car and expect basic competence, I strongly recommend avoiding this business. Attached are images of my vehicle before visiting ‘The Tyre Technicians’ and the so-called ‘repairs’ they deemed acceptable. The condition of my car following their service is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the quality and integrity of their work.
