Was directed to this tearooms by a lady at a garden centre yesterday. Amazing place; small and cosy and full of atmosphere. We had panini followed by a homemade sensational chocolate orange cheesecake and a lemon and lavender cake.
We had a fabulous cream tea here today. A delicious selection of sandwiches with a salad garnish followed by delicious home made cakes and a cream scone. Served on pretty china crockery by friendly owners.
Visited for the 1st time today. What a gem of a tearoom, atmospheric and cosy with a lovely garden. Opted for the scone with jam and cream.....oh my... delicious , along with a caffetier of really lovely ' proper' coffee. Will definitely return.
first time visit, lovely internal decoration and outside garden. we just had two coffees and one mint chocolate cake. coffee came with large cafeteria which was enough for four small cups. the mint chocolate cake was good and not too sweet.
I have visited The Village Tearooms on two separate occasions. During both visits we have felt that the service and food was absolutely spot on! Table service is in operation here, so there is no need to leave your seat. Drinks and food are served in traditional crockery which adds to the unique feel of the place. The cakes are homemade so taste so much better then the desserts that the larger chains provide. The staff have always been welcoming to us. Card and cash is accepted. Parking is available across the road in the village carpark.
We booked for afternoon tea, when we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome. Our afternoon tea was delicious, it consisted of a selection of freshly made sandwiches, jam and cream scones and a choice of cake. Excellent value for money. The staff were really friendly. A little gem of a place that we will be returning to.

Nice little cafe. Very friendly staff. We all had scones with cream with tea and coffee, which are the best we've had in such a long time. Both inside and out are very homely. Would definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend. Pre-booking is required.
