   Fast delivery after getting email confirmation. Got a phone call from the delivery driver when he was on his way with an accurate ETA and another phone call when he arrived. Super helpful and placed everything exactly where it needed to be. Extremely polite and friendly delivery driver and good communication from company in total!

   Marks all over the sofa when took packaging off hole in one of the cushions also a large hole underneath emailed company about this waiting on a response!! Update was offered £40 partial refund however I did ask for £100 as hired a cleaning machine which cost me £50 they come back with £60 offer wouldn’t go to £100 so had to take that in the end!

   SCAM ALERT – DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a sofa from this company through Facebook. The lady who took my order was extremely responsive, confirming the size, color, and type of sofa. She even sent a picture to assure me I’d get exactly what I ordered. Once I confirmed, a man called and messaged me on WhatsApp to reconfirm the order. The next day, the delivery arrived, but the driver was in a rush, didn’t let me check the package, and kept pressuring me to pay. They only accepted cash, which was already suspicious. As soon as they left, I opened the package and was shocked—not only was it completely different from what I ordered, but it was also an incomplete, cheap-quality sofa that looked nothing like what was promised. I called the driver immediately, but he claimed he was “just the driver” and told me to contact the lady from Facebook. When I did, she suddenly changed her behavior and eventually stopped responding. After two days, I received a WhatsApp message from someone named Faraz, who promised the correct sofa would be delivered in 2-3 days. It’s now been 5 days, and no one is answering my calls or messages. These people are scammers—they create fake Facebook profiles, take your money, and send low-quality, incomplete furniture. Do not trust them! They will disappear as soon as they get your payment. Avoid at all costs! Updated 24/03/2025 Hi Abakus Direct, I appreciate your response, but the order was placed under your company’s name on Facebook, and the individuals I dealt with claimed to be from your business. If this is truly a case of impersonation, I’d expect you to take swift action to address it. However, before I consider removing my review, I’d like clear proof that this was not your operation. Could you clarify: 1. Do you officially sell sofas via Facebook? 2. Are cash-only transactions part of your business model? 3. Have other customers reported similar scams under your name? 4. What steps are you taking to ensure future customers don’t fall into the same trap? There’s no warning on your website or social media about this issue, so how can people know they are dealing with the real Abakus Direct? If this was indeed a fraudulent seller using your identity, I’d be happy to assist by sharing details. However, as of now, my experience remains valid, and potential customers deserve to be aware of what happened. Looking forward to your clarification.

   I had in mind what I was looking for but viewing the sofas on the website I was spoilt for choice. I ordered the Chicago corner sofa and chair in dark blue, easy to order and a fantastic price below my original budget. I was anxious that the colour wouldn't be the same as in the picture online but on arrival I was over the moon, the colour is identical. The delivery driver Chris was fantastic and is a credit to your team, he bought the sofas into the living room, explained how easy it was to put the feet on and clip the corner sofa together and he was correct is was very simple! From start to finish, the experience has been easy, placing the order, receiving confirmation, been kept upto date by text and email to organise a delivery date, even on the delivery day I was able to track the delivery driver and received a phone call when he was on his way. The sofa was ready to be delivered 2 days after placing the order but unfortunately wasn't convenient for me so they simply arranged a day the following week that suited me. Seems comfy enough so far and well built. I am very pleased and have already recommended this company to family and friends.

   Great product for a very affordable price! Corner sofa bed I bought has a very good quality and is very comfy. Excellent communication from start to the very end! Delivery was arranged in 2 days after the purchase, it is much more faster that advertised! Very happy with the product and the seller! Would definitely use again!

   I looked long and hard for a new corner sofa (harder than anticipated) couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, but this came close, so I took a chance – bearing in mind your pretty much stuck with it once delivered. So glad I did, the sofa is lovely, and the seller is even better! 5yr guarantee, extras and spares if needed, UK based, customer support by email or landline. The sofa seems well-made, the seating cushions are a generous 60 cm and filled with foam a little firm, but I’m sure they’ll soften up in time. If like me, worried about buying from somewhere you can’t actually see and try before it delivered – fear not! This is worth taking the risk for the price difference – so glad I did, and it was delivered within two days of ordering.
