   I don't ordinarily recommend shops/businesses in the event of someone having a bad experience on my recommendation. However, on this occasion, I feel it would be remiss if I didn't make a comment on the excellent service I received from Ashbrooks. The service from both the salesman (Andy) and the fitter (sadly I didn't get his name) was very good and the whole process of picking carpet to getting it then properly measured and fitted, went very smoothly. Friendly helpful advice with no hard sell. The fitter was very fast, taking up my old carpet and underlay to relaying new underlay, carpet and gripper rods in just over an hour. No messing about, worked hard from arriving and the finish was really good. You would be hard pushed to find somewhere as good for your carpet needs.

   I was so impressed with the service I received from all the staff. Andy came out to my flat with three books of carpet samples & he measured all the rooms. The carpets were fitted & I am very pleased with everything. Anthony, the carpet fitter,was very pleasant & polite & did a great job. I was quite surprised that I wasn't asked to pay until after they had been fitted & Chris explained that this is to ensure that I was completely satisfied with everything. I will continue to shop at Ashbrooks as I really like the personal touch that you don't get in large stores.

   Have used Ashbrooks for years for all our carpets, mattresses and furniture. We keep going back as their customer service is excellent. They are so helpful with nothing being to much trouble. On the one occasion we had an issue (due to a manufacturing defect) they sorted it without question. With such excellent customer service and the benefit of supporting a local business I highly recommend Ashbrooks.
