I visited Fox valley Costa today 4/12/25 and the service was excellent especially Richard, he is very good at his job, polite, friendly and a credit to your company
the workers told me i wasn’t allowed any more milk. and this worker kept dirty looking me and i am currently sat outside of this costa and she is looking at me like im a peice of poo it was disgraceful customer service never coming again.
I visit Costa at Fox Valley on a regular basis. The staff there are absolutely brilliant, they are so polite, friendly and effecient. They make the best coffee ever which is always served with a smile and to add to that they work so hard and keep the place so clean and tidy. I just cannot thank them enough and insist they know how much they are appreciated. I do hope that their manager reads this message and then commends them on their efforts. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou lovely staff.
The service was excellent, 5 stars. So polite. The coffee was also quite good and very nicely made with care by the barista. The food is quite average but it is not prepared by them or fresh, it is sourced from a warehouse probably.
Not being from the local area, this was our first visit to Fox Valley. We started off at the other Costa above Sandersons but there wee no seats available. The lady at the counter advised us to try the main shop at the other end of the car park. There was a bit of a queue when we went in, but they quickly cleared it. Drinks were made as requested and food was fine. Staff polite and friendly despite being busy. Toilets were clean and tidy.
I gave it a 5 star, even though there was a small issue with my Panini. I had a bacon and brie panini (last one on the shelf). The food was delivered, however it wasn't warmed through properly some of the bacon and brie was still cold. I returned to the till and explained that it wasn't warmed through properly, I was asked to get a replacement I mentioned that that was the last one, I declined any other sandwich they had as I wasn't overly keen on what they had. Without hesitation they refunded me the cost. I sat down to drink my latte when a server came over and handed me a shortbread cake and apologized for the issue with the panini. It was totally unexpected and gratefully accepted.
The staff are lovely and givevgreat service however ... we had to have takeaway cups, they didn't have any plates and the place was dirty. I do like it there but it needs some support.
Always a mixed bag at a Costa, never one the same! Food ok but not a vast choice even though it was early morning, didn't seem the cleanest of places and the toilets were terrible, not regularly inspected and wet everywhere! Food delivered quickly but not the friendliest of receptions considering the price of things! Got busy quickly and many struggling to find a seat, some tables not cleared quickly, lots sat outside even you it was freezing! Would I go again....not without improvement as there are other coffee shops on site so more to choose from. Big fan of Costa myself, though you would not think so my this review, but I say it as I find, and this occasion (may have been that particular day) , was falling short of the usual Costa experience I have. Disappointed on this occasion.
Love this Costa always clean and well presented. They didn't have M&S sausage rolls which was disappointing as they were delish!! Enjoyed the visit with my daughter and grandchildren, staff were really helpful!
