   Moda Furnishings Sub-Standard Product Quality With Worthless 7 Year Guarantee We spent a considerable amount of money on a supposedly UV resistant Moda Furnishings rattan style 8 seat table & chairs in November 2021. Last Summer we noticed a couple of rattan strips had broken, this Summer (2025) there are multiple strips broken on both the table and the Lazy Suzan. My guess is that the glass tabletop proves too much for the rattan in hot weather (when it would be in use). I approached Moda Furnishings in early August only to find that they had gone into administration in July 2023 and that they would not honour the 7 year guarantee. As they were bought out of liquidation by Giomani Designs Ltd, I then wrote to the Giomani. CEO. I received a phone call the following day to say that they would not honour the guarantee. They reluctantly agreed to put this in writing, but have failed to do so. Whilst I accept that they have no legal responsibility, I believe that they have an ethical and moral duty to honour the guarantee - especially as they are still marketing under the Moda Furnishings name. So, they benefit from the name but shirk the responsibility for, what in our case, turned out to be a sub-standard product. For us their guarantee has proved to be totally worthless. My advice is to steer well clear of Moda Furnishing products and their parent Giomani Designs Ltd.

   Disgustingly incompetent company. Tried to send us an incomplete outdoor sofa set (with a 2 week delivery date rather than 3-5 days as advertised on the site) with no timeline for resolution. We rejected this delivery. They then delivered it again after promising it was complete.... It was not. We've messed around for 3 weeks with these jokers and they say they're not going to have the parts back in stock at all. Tried to offer us an alternative and we took one day to consider our options, only to be told this was out of stock as well. We will be getting a full refund but honestly just avoid at all costs. Don't be tempted by their cheap prices.

   Awful company, truly terrible customer services. Refuse to accept any liability, ignoring emails for months on end, copy and pasting responses and ignoring questions, and blatant evidence they are in the wrong. New ownership clearly hasn't been a good thing, they quite honestly couldn't care less. I don't even want anything from them other than to acknowledge they have made a mistake. Have asked to speak to a manager countless times now and being ignored every time.

   I cannot tell you how disappointed we are being returning customers & how shocked we are at how poor the customer service is compared to last time we purchased……how can a company go from great customer service to non existent in a couple of years? The fact that you cannot get through on the phone should have set alarm bells ringing with hindsight. The extended sofa we ordered arrived with a severely bent frame on one of the sections which was clearly not fit for purpose & obviously no quality control had been carried out before delivery ! We sent in photos & videos as requested & they agreed to swap the damaged items after I declined their very odd original offer of a £40 credit note & keep the damaged item which was not fit for purpose…..why would you spend £1600 on damaged goods? 10 emails later (most of which are completely ignored) we are still awaiting a delivery date to swap the damaged section over. Come on Moda you still have time to redeem yourself by offering a repeat customer some basic customer service…..it’s not rocket science!

   Just had a terrible encounter with your delivery driver. PK19 SVA His customer service skills are horrendous. Being abusive to me and another fellow motorist. And failing to understand the highway code. After his abuse and me informing him I'd be reporting it. He promptly moved his van aside so I and the other motorist who'd been waiting 5 mins already got thru. His attitude and general demeina was utterly disgusting. Having people like that representing your company is not a good thing for business.
