   We approached Kitchen Design Centre Manchester in May 2025 for ideas to renew our kitchen. They had been recommended by a friend who vouched for the efficiency of the installation and qualify of the product. We met with Paul Harrington and arranged for him to come and view the kitchen and measure up. Paul went to a great deal of effort to understand our needs and preferences and budget. He came up with a design incorporating our wish to have a peninsula feature. He helped us chose the units, appliances, worktops and flooring. The experience was very personal and Paul was very pleasant to deal with. The kitchen was fitted in July 2025. We had gone for a full refit, including taking the plaster off the walls and ceilings. The refit was handled throughout by one of KDC's fitting teams led by Billy. Pretty much everything went to plan - inevitably there were a few glitches and items not arriving and more mess than we anticipated but it was a big job and we are very pleased with the outcome. Billy helped us retain items for a temporary kitchen in another room and helped us dispose of the old working appliances, which we had not expected. The flooring job was very efficiently handled. We are very pleased with our new kitchen. The Neff appliances are fantastic, linked to our phone and can be activated remotely. The units are top quality. 4 months in there have been no teething problems and it seems surprisingly easy to keep clean. You will not get the cheapest kitchen from KDC but you will get a personal service and a top quality kitchen. We would definiteky

   Our kitchen needed a complete makeover and I started my research by going to all the usual kitchen design showrooms. Obviously they all have fantastic displays and it gets very confusing choosing the right company. None of them every felt just right when speaking to them I was getting very worried that I would not find a company that I was confident in until I happened to go to Housing Units in Hollinwood one day and saw Kitchen Design Centre (KDC). I will be completely honest, I sat outside for quite a while thinking that this looked like a really fantastic place but perhaps out of my price range. I plucked up the courage and went in and was met by Paul Harrington, one of their designers. He put me at ease right away and I told him what my budget was and he said that he could take a look and come up with a plan, so I booked an appointment right away. I walked out of their showroom feeling really confident that this was the company I wanted to do my kitchen. Paul came up with a design, it is only a small kitchen but he managed to include everything I wanted, especially my wonderful Neff dishwasher and my Slide & Hide Neff oven. And all within my budget! Billy the kitchen fitter is so good, such excellent workmanship and he is definitely a perfectionist and have to give a nod to Josh, his assistant. Also a heads up to Wayne who did all the electrical work, brilliant job and not that easy. The finished kitchen is a joy and I am so pleased that I went with Kitchen Design Centre.

   Terrible experience. Three months on and still not complete. Had to change the design in the second week as it clearly wasn't going to work (share the responsibility for that), but still not received all items, all the correct units and a number of damaged doors and plinths still not replaced. Very unhappy with the communication and lack of updates - have to chase everything.

   Absolutely love our new kitchen! John was amazing at bringing our ideas to life, showing us different options in the showroom and making the whole process run smoothly. The kitchen was installed quickly and to perfection by Billy. Would highly recommend Kitchen Design Centre!

   We are so pleased with our new kitchen recently fitted by the Kitchen Design Centre at Hollinwood. We spent time doing our research and visiting kitchen showrooms in the North West and have to say that the standard of service and quality of showroom displays at KDC were head and shoulders above others visited. Our designer Grace Davids was excellent and the virtual plans were superb, nothing was too much trouble for her and at no time was any pressure put on us. Once the plans were agreed, the team made up of Ian Barrott (Builder) Andy Livesey (Electrician), Dan (fitter) and Chris (flooring) set to work. What a pleasure it was to have them all in our house. Totally trustworthy, great attitude and outstanding workmanship has resulted in our perfect kitchen. Thanks to all for a wonderful job!

   Bought lots and lots of excellent quality items from Housing Units in the past including 3 piece suites. complete Bathroom etc etc. However my advice to H.U. is, be very careful whom you choose to franchise other aspects of your business to as it is your own reputation that will suffer if the service is not of H.U. quality. Which leads me to kitchen Design at H.U., terrible customer service. We walked into their showroom spent 20 mins looking at their kitchen displays whilst 3 employees sat around drinking coffee & chatting completely disinterested, apart from a clever walk by comment made by a little chap about a fridge freezer we were looking at. Needless to say after 20 mins of disinterest from these chancers we left and drove over to West Yorks where we have this week placed an order for a £25k+ kitchen. Cannot believe H.U. have let this lot anywhere near the fantastic H.U. showrooms

   Kitchen Design Centre - the best! Kitchen Design Centre offer a brilliant customer focused service with a no obligation ethos. The designers are not in competition with each other and, as such, are all willing to give of their time ensuring a wide range of advice and experience is shared with potential customers. We wouldn't change a thing about our kitchen and the team were so professional in their approach throughout the design, fitting and after service. We cannot recommend them enough.    We couldn't be more pleased with our new kitchen - the designer came up with a really great design that made our previously awkward L-shaped kitchen-diner into a lovely sociable cooking and eating space - we spend so much time in there now and can't believe how much storage and worktop space we now have! The quality of the installation was excellent and the service was perfect throughout.
