Didn't visit but was cutting the grass at the side of the pub. Under new ownership just need people to go in.
Visited today. Was welcomed by the staff and the customers and felt like i was at home. While i was there i only got a coke as i was driving. Prices was reasonable and they had some music to make it feel more welcoming. While i was there they told me they has bingo and quiz nights through the week. also some live entertained throughout the weekend. They have a slot machine and a pool table which seems well looked after. Was a shame that they was reverbing the kitchen at the time of a visit but Will be looking forwarded to visiting if passing there in the future.

We actually went to the kettlethorpe hotel after my uncles funeral for a few sandwiches and tea/coffee, they were very welcoming and the food they put on was lovely and tasty and displayed very well...they left us to talk between ourselves and kept an eye on the buffet which they kept the table tidy and looking inviting throughout ghe time we were there..i wish to thank them for the few hours we had with our family's to catch up, as well as talk about our relative who had died.. I would recommend anyone in the area to look at the Kettlethorpe hotel for any kind of function ....you will not be disapointed
Great place to relax and have a drink or two either in the pub or beer garden round the back.
Had a brilliant time a this pub Joe the Landlord couldn't help you enough, my brother had to have a rushed wedding and we couldn't find anywhere to have his reception till Joe sorted it out for us in less then 6 weeks. They function room as well as the pub is so clean I highly recommend this pub for any function nice play area for the kids and does so my for the community and kids it's what every pub should be like
Great local pub. Nice & friendly & with Joe as your landlord, you can't go wrong. Well worth a visit & it's looking great after a recent refurb!
Always a warm welcome when you arrive, a great selection of beers, cider, wines and spirits all very reasonably priced. The recent refurbishment just adds to the package! It’s now my favourite pub in the area
