   This is a typical Wetherspoons but with friendly, helpful staff and enjoyable booth seating options. Food is not cordon bleu, but then it's priced accordingly. Go along, enjoy the reasonably priced food and drink and hopefully some good company.

   Before reading, please note, neither me or my partner are overly picky with restaurants and we frequent a few Spoons in the Leeds area and really like a Spoons breakie, lunch and dinner on occasion (also love a good pub quiz when we catch them). That being said, when we came into this one for a lunch whilst visiting Morley high Street, we got an all day brunch with a few extras (maple cured bacon, black pudding and pigs in blankets) and a portion of Fish and Chips. My All day Brunch tasted like it had been reheated and the pigs in blankets and black pudding were cremated but still edible and the plate they brought my extra bacon on burned my fingers when I picked it up (I wasn't warned that the plate carrying the mildly warm bacon was going to be hot) The other half's fish and chips were fine but the fish was well over done. We both also ordered pepsi max as our drinks and they were very flat when brought to us and nearly spilled by the waitress. Not a single smile to be seen and barely an "enjoy your food" to be heard either.

   This place is bad even for a Spoons. I've been in 3 times. 1st an evening with friends. Fine but in a group that size everywhere is fine. 2nd an evening with my sister. The fellas opposite us was coughing up and spitting on the floor. A lot. 3rd a breakfast with a friend. A bloke fell over, twice, absolutely wasted at 9.30 And the back yard was like a scene from trainspotting.

   Very very busy on a Saturday good for them but not for me .. this is a great building and has a nice atmosphere. Personally I prefer it when a bit quieter and I can hear myself think.

   Very good breakfast as always. Good value for money and very tasty. Bottomless coffee and tea deal good as usual. BUT also as usual there was a queue for coffee as only one of the two machines was operating. The other seemed to only require cleaning and refilling but wasn't done. Then the working one ran out and WAS cleaned and refilled, but the other was left not working. Could a staff member be on coffee duty at breakfast time and only look after the coffee machines.? Would make it much better.

   Decent food and fairly priced. Good vegetarian selection. Friendly staff and fast service. Covid measures in place like screens and ordering from table using the app if you want. Can get very busy, which shows how popular it is, but does have quieter times when its good to sit with a meal and a pint.
