Called in for a pint on Saturday afternoon. Very expensive for Strongbow compared to surrounding pubs. It had a bit of a flat atmosphere.

This is a great local pub, the staff and regulars are always friendly.
Worked away for 2 weeks this was the local pub by our hotel . Couldn't say a bad word about the pub the staff was amazing and locals mad us feel so welcome. Thank u . Mike + Carl
Had my nephews wake in there staff were brilliant and made us feel welcome. And buffet they put on was 5 star they made a sad day into one that was memorable for the deceased thanks
On my arrival I spotted in the smoking area a man smoking drugs, I could’ve looked past this as it isn’t actually the Pubs fault but... On my visit last night I would like to firstly point out that the owner was lovely, polite and attentive. Although one of her staff members was exceptionally rude to me. I asked for some peanuts, I’m pretty sure I said please but she took it upon herself to shout across the entire pub that I should use my manners, and “I won’t get any until I ask properly” First of all I shouldn’t have to say “please” as a buying customer to receive a product you sell, secondly outing someone in front of an entire pub is disgusting. I even quietly tried to apologise and said “I thought I said please I’m sorry” and this lady wouldn’t even look at me... not very good customer service. I won’t return.
