One of the best Sunday roast I’ve had and I love Sunday roast, fantastic service from all the waiters. We didn’t pre book and upon arrival it was busy but with in 5 minutes they got me a table sorted all the staff was so polite and very helpful
I placed my order through Uber Eats and the delivery experience was smooth — it arrived within the estimated time and everything was warm and well-packaged when it got here. The food itself was a mix of really good and quite disappointing. The highlight of the order was definitely the Halloumi Sticks. They were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and soft inside, and genuinely enjoyable. The Chilli Con Carne Jacket Potato was also lovely — warm, comforting, and full of flavour, exactly what you’d hope for from that kind of dish. The Butter Chicken Pasta, however, fell short. Even though the flavour was nice, the overall dish didn’t work. It arrived extremely dry with barely any sauce, and the pasta itself seemed undercooked, almost raw in places. It was dry enough to make me cough while eating, and I actually had to fix and finish it at home. It didn’t resemble the “creamy” dish described on the menu, which was disappointing because it has a lot of potential if prepared properly. With a richer, creamier sauce, fully cooked pasta, and a bit more attention to the menu description, the dish could be much better. I would definitely order the halloumi sticks and the jacket potato again, but I wouldn’t reorder the pasta unless it’s improved.
Super nice place to eat, best sunday roast - affordable and large portions which actually taste really nice and have individual flavours. The actual restaurant is nice and clean and has a family friendly atmosphere and a conservatory style eating area along the inside restaurant area.
I recently tried Legends Cafe in Batley and, honestly, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The staff seemed all over the place one guy in particular looked like he’d rather be anywhere else. Service was slow, and it felt like the team could really use some retraining. One thing that really put me off was the flies. There were loads of them buzzing around our table, and I heard other people complaining about it too. Not great when you’re trying to enjoy a meal. Speaking of the food, it looked good when it arrived, but the taste just didn’t match up. Nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. Parking is available, but there aren’t many spaces, so you might struggle if it’s busy. Overall, Legends Cafe has potential, but it needs a lot of work especially with the staff and cleanliness. I probably won’t be rushing back.

An excellent night out . lots of great genuine people who make you feel like you belong . Legends has great music great atmosphere and the proprietor is a great person . Keeps his customers happy and always has time for everyone. For a great night out there is no place better ... give it a try .
Still as good as ever. Some excellent tribute bands, check them out on the website. You can pay on your bank card for drinks. There is an excellent outdoor drinking/smoking area
Music great but legends nearly empty every time I go felt uneasy this sat because three well dressed men walked in with a crowed if women looked like they were working business the men had no drinks but stood out side watching were the ladys walking and sitting down quiet a few people commented so not just me thought one of the women lent up against wall nearly showing her next week's washing to my make friend don't think I'll be going again if I do be a long time going down hill
