Historically always taken my vehicles here. Had an issue on my Peugeot van which over the phone they said they could look at and sort. But when I took it in the chap behind the desk (someone different) said outright they couldn't help with my specific problem. More continuity would be better
Fast, professional, great value. Drove in without an appointment today, thought I had a puncture, pulled into a very clean bay immediately. Mo quickly established it was a valve issue not a puncture. This issue was solved very quickly with no fuss. Served by Marcus, polite, and professional. All round fantastic value. Couldn’t ask for more expectations exceeded. Stopped at firststop garage in Wolverhampton for a quickie as I noticed a red message on my dashboard about my rear right tyre hoping they'd look after me without an appointment. I explained the issue and was asked to put the car in one of their bays. Witjin secs, a mechanic by the name of Josh looked at my tyres. He checked the pressure and noticed I was a couple of psi below. He added air into each of my tyres and explained to me that if I'm a couple of psi down, it's normal for the dashboard to show the issue. He was friendly and professional. I was not charged for the service. I think that was really kind to do it for free for air. Thank you firststop garage, thank you Josh for solving my air issue. I will be recommending you to other people. Keep up the good work
My brother initially visited this establishment for a tracking service. Despite being charged the full price, the service was incomplete as they were unable to loosen the track rod end, a task he subsequently completed himself. Upon a return visit, he was again charged the full price, and the service was then successfully performed. Subsequently, I scheduled an MOT here. My partner contacted them at 9 AM to inform them that a tire replacement was necessary prior to the MOT due to a bubble. They confirmed this was acceptable. However, upon arrival, they stated they would fail the vehicle, replace the tire, and then pass it. When I inquired why they couldn't simply replace the tire, they advised against it, suggesting it might fail regardless. This vehicle is meticulously maintained, with the exception of the aforementioned tire. Given that my children are transported in this car, I am confident in its overall condition. I would caution against utilizing their services. The impression I received was that they intended to fail the vehicle to make a point. Consequently, I sought services elsewhere, where my request was fulfilled without an appointment, and the vehicle passed inspection.
Woke up with an almost flat tyre, and drove to First Stop with no appointment or even a phone call. They offered repair or replace, and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I was charged only £22 in total, and think both the service and value were excellent. There is also free tea/coffee in the waiting area, with a donation bucket, for a very worthy local charity, so if you like beverages, and good causes, it may be worth having small change.
I have been taking my vehicle to HiQ Chapel Ash Wolverhampton for Service, MOT and incidental repairs for several years now. I totally trust the the staff team as a result. I am confident in asking advice and recommendations about any issues to do with my car. They are an efficient, well trained and professional team.
HiQ is excellent. The reception staff and mechanics are all helpful and courteous. Charges are always very reasonable for the work done and HiQ staff are honest. They never do any unnecessary work. Lovely place. I trust all the staff implicitly.

Done tracking all good but its not hard to cut and replace it so its nice and straight.
Excellent service. I brought in a pothole damaged tyre and they got a new tyre and fitted it within a day or so. Final price was almost exactly the same as buying the tyre online and getting it fitted. If I lived locally they would be the first place I'd go to for any tyre service. Highly recommended for their professional service.
