A truly exceptional service provided by Ty. I was genuinely blown away by his enthusiasm for his role, depth of knowledge, and outstanding customer service. He took immense pride and care in his work. He is absolutely management material, with no doubt a fantastic career ahead of him.
We popped in here just to grab a bite to eat and have a few drinks. Hannah was so lovely and super friendly. The food was as good as we remember (we all got the shawarma!), and the roof top terrace is a perfect sun trap!
We used The Box to host an event for our Run Club and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The venue was absolutely perfect and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. A special shoutout to Olympia, her support, enthusiasm, and attention to detail was outstanding. She truly went above and beyond, and we can’t thank her enough. Highly recommend!
Went here last night very busy place. Myself and couple of friends was at the bar for 30 minutes without getting served one of the bar staff kept serving all young lads jumping the queue, when we challenged her another staff member jumped in and said stop giving us attitude, their was no attitude we was just pointing out the obvious. We got no apology just attitude of the bar staff. I know it was busy but that was out of Oder the way i got spoke to think it might of been the bar manager she needs some training in customer services. All in all good place unfortunately just a couple of staff that let the place down.
Food was amazing, staff were sooooo attentive and helpful as I had a stroke recently and opened a downstairs area for my group and made sure we didn't feel left out.
I booked a table for 8 o clock for food. On the website it stated that food service was 12-8:30pm so I thought if I got there at 8 I would have time to quickly decide what I want and order before the kitchen shut. However as I was about to order at 8:05pm we were informed that the kitchen wasn’t taking any more orders. If there was a problem with the time I booked the table for it would have been nice to have been contacted before hand. It was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend going for food. Unfortunately I couldn’t rate any less than one star.
Can be hugely student heavy (fine if you're a student!) So I'm perhaps more strategic in when I choose to visit, but the food is good, cheap (on a Thursday) and plentiful. Lots to like here.
Me and my friend were treated very well at this pub, where there is a fun atmosphere even beginning at the counter and music is played! We enjoyed our 2 for 1 cocktail offer and when I became sick from having drank at too many pubs by then, the staff were helpful and patient. I had to use the toilet and cleanliness had been maintained, like at the seating that is highly comfortable!
