Despite a nondescript small exterior, once inside it was a good experience with great service and plenty of good seating areas. The menu was original and excellent with good quality ingredients. The porridge was a stand out as well as the fresh orange juice

When we arrived it was super busy but we were happy to wait and be texted when a table became available. Hands down the best veggie breakfast I’ve had. The food was fresh, hot and perfectly cooked. The barbecue beans were superb and the avocado was delicious. First time visiting and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

The best avocado toast I've ever had. The sourdough was amazing. I was on a day trip to Barnsley and this café was fantastic. Super coffee and brunch, lovely atmosphere, friendly service. Dogs welcome. You are very lucky to have a café like this in your locality.

Being a little cafe, my partner and i arrived here for opening time on Saturday morning ( was already filling up) We both had the old george breakfast, with americano. I don't understand people complaining about the price. You get what you pay for, we wanted a quality breakfast with quality ingredients, and that's what we got. It was delicious! So much taste, not greasy and full of oil like usual cheap breakfasts. If you want a nice breakfast, this is the place. Cant wait to go back!

Good coffee and the cakes are tasty too. Staff is very friendly and it’s got a good vibe when you enter. Altho at times it can get busy but worth the wait if you like good coffee.

We stopped for coffee and cake and were not disappointed! The Lotus stack and the Ferrero Rocher stack were both delicious and perfect for a sweet tooth. I tried the white chocolate mocha for something different, it was like a sweet, creamy latte so good for people who want a milder coffee. Food at other tables looked great too. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Excellent quality food. Hollandaise sauce didn't have that powdery quality you get in sachets, so was clearly made properly and from scratch. Bacon was thick cut and beautifully tasted. Eggs cooked but still runny. Peach iced tea lemonade was refreshing and delicious. Saw other food coming out and it all looked amazing. Wraps are huge to look at. Think a wrap is going to be my selection on my next visit. Will be happy to return.

A really cute cafe in the centre of Barnsley. Just amazing super friendly staff. Great menu options. The smoked salmon benny is amazing. So is the veggie breakfast. I am addicted to their cortado. Also those desserts they have are just amazing. Get some to take home with you or have it with a tea or coffee. So so yum
