We found exactly what we wanted in store and the price was extremely reasonable, and it was nice to talk to a "real person" instead of a "hard Sales person" like you get in the larger nationwide stores. The sofa came with the timescale quoted and was delivered by two lively and super helpful lads, James and Rob. “Purchased a Golf GTI from Richard over a week ago. Polite, professional and not pushy at all. Very helpful offering to come and pick me up from the train station for the test drive,but no pressure at all applied for me to purchase the vehicle. I would not have any hesitation in recommending this dealership if your in the market for purchasing a new car. I also took opportunity to use German auto centre to carry out a gearbox and haldex oil change as no records were within the service history of it being done. “Lovely, independent tea room and village store. I have walked past it before on my walk from Cannon Hall, had no idea the garden gies on forever. Friendly, helpful staff, great selection on the menu. Had a toasted fruit teacake and the cafetiere coffee was very tasty and had not had that brand before. Lovely garden area and view, very relaxing. Outside selection of outdoor/indoor plants for sale, a vine that loves it's home! At the bottom of the garden a selection of local and non local fruit & veg, the quality was 1st class and great to see where they come from. 1st class customer service, tea room, village store, garden, food and prices. Would highly recommend.”

“Been with this vets on and off for several years now and all of the vets and nurses I've seen here are very kind, caring and professional. The receptionists are very good and will go out of their way to help with appointments and queries. The Practice Manager is very pro-active and can often be seen in the background supporting staff members in what can only be described as very busy and at times possibly stressfull enviroment for staff members. She is very passionate and caring and a strong manager. They are open 24/7 and their prices are very reasonable in comparison to other vets, although administration fees for dispensing medications can be around £16 per item, (bearing in mind that almost all vets charge this not just Barnsley Vets for pets) plus the cost of the medications, some of which can be bought online with a prescription for much less, there is a charge for prescriptions but they are very reasonable! So it's probably worth getting a prescription which is active for 6 months once prescribed, for things like worming and flea products or long-term medications. All in all this vets offers up-to-date treatments and are very caring and knowledgeble.”

Nevertheless I chanced and travelled down from Leeds and was greeted by Danny. Great guy, very professional and friendly and he was a pleasure to deal with. My car was inspected, we agreed a price and completed the paperwork. That's it very simple and straightforward. I’ve never seen flowers so beautiful, all my guests commented on how amazing they were. My whole experience with Steph was brilliant, she listened to what I wanted and kept me updated the whole way through. I especially loved how she sent me photos of the church & reception venue on the day, flowers were the last thing on my mind when walking down the aisle so this was really appreciated. I cannot thank Pickerings enough for doing my wedding flowers, they were absolutely perfect. Delivery was efficient and on time, service was impeccable and the quality was second to none. Steph was lovely throughout and really took away some of my wedding stress, all I had to do was tell her the flowers I wanted and she sorted the rest!
