I ordered 3 ton of ballast 2 of them was ok 1 was that contaminated with topsoil was Unusable. Gave them a ring to see about sorting another bag to finish the job, and they was not interested at all. Customer service what a joke. Your loss closing my account and I tell everyone to stay away from MKM Barnsley.
I recently bought a bulk bag of gravel from these guys. A very simple online order process, a pretty much instant call back to tell me when it would be delivered (couple of days) and delivery on the nose as promised. Not only were they the cheapest by far plus free delivery - they are the best in my opinion. Thanks guys. I am pleased to be able to praise your service. Thanks to the delivery driver for getting the bag exactly where I asked too.
I followed a driver down edderthorpe lane, he did absolutely fantastic in a rear steer large vehicle, he alerted oncoming cars with his horn at low visibility and also had his orange beacon on to alert other drivers

From my initial enquiry by phone to the actual delivery of my items I was very impressed with the couteous, polite and supportive service offered by Mark and the team at MKM Barnsley. They were very knowledgeable and offered good recommendations of products required for my landscaping project at very competetive prices. Delivery was very prompt and hats off to the driver who navigated several hurdles to get many bulk bags, sleepers, cement and soil neatly and efficiently onto my drive! Nothing was too much trouble!
We ordered a tonne of gravel yesterday and it was delivered this morning. We got excellent help and customer service from both the guy answering the phone and the delivery driver. First time I've called into MKM very impressed excellent layout in store. Good kitchen display,staff were very friendly and helpful. Larger outside area for timber etc. Do recommend this supplier worth a visit
