   Dan is definitely 'the man'. I spent hours trying to sell my car through Motorway with the hope of achieving their initial valuation. That price got knocked down on minor stone chips and then the final offer was book price only, some £1300 below initial valuation. I tried Motor Dough, they offered book price only. Cazoo didn't want to know because I hadn't 'officially' owned the car for more than 3 months (although, it's been my car through work for 4 years). Wepaymoreforanycar had to have the car dropped off miles away and webuyanycar's valuation wasn't too good to start with and I understand they are quick to chip away at the price. I did a valuation with Evans Halshaw and the initial valuation was one of the highest (I thought it will get knocked down a few hundred), so I made an appointment for the same afternoon and took my car down to see Danny. He is very professional, efficient and friendly and explained everything about the whole process whilst taking photos and submitting forms online at the same time. The issue with the ownership of the car didn't phase Danny, he said as all the service docs and initial order forms were all in my name that there shouldn't be a problem with the logbook only being assigned to me for a couple of weeks. He got this confirmed with his managers within 10 minutes or so and I got the full price quoted which was well above book price! Absolutely brilliant. I was ready to phone for a taxi too when Danny said he could run me home as part of his test drive. What a great process and service, both Danny and Evans Halshaw for having a vast network of outlets that can cater for all levels of cars; £1K to £70K+. Thank you so much!

   I'd tried a different (and well known) car buying service; I was with them for two appointments and ended up leaving disappointed when they offered £4K less than their original web-based estimate. Danny at Evans Halshaw however, was friendly from the moment I met him; he asked me relevant questions, listened to my answers and moved the process through really quickly. I left the site not only happy with the sale, but knowing that I'd received the exact sum estimated for my vehicle by the website. Danny went above-and-beyond reasonable expectations - he even drove me to the train station after the appointment! HIGHLY recommended!

   What a pleasurable experience. If you are looking to sell your car and obtain a good price for it, go no further than here. I was offered a far better price than any so called 'car dealer' could offer which gave me more negotiation power on my potential new vehicle. I took all my paperwork to the office, explained my history with the vehicle and they did the rest. Danny Lockwood is extremely professional and was an absolute pleasure to do business with. I will use them again and I can't recommend them highly enough.

   I was downsizing and wanted to sell my 4x4 and came across Evans Halshaw. Got a price online and booked an appointment. I was initially slightly put off as it was in a Morrisons car park. Nevertheless I chanced and travelled down from Leeds and was greeted by Danny. Great guy, very professional and friendly and he was a pleasure to deal with. My car was inspected, we agreed a price and completed the paperwork. That's it very simple and straightforward. Danny also went that extra mile and found out train times back to Leeds and dropped me off at the station. Great service, great experience and would recommend. Thank you, Danny.    Really pleased with Daniel and Thomas at Evans Halshaw. Don't be put off by the look of this place. It's got all you need to sell a car. I was offered a very competitive price and had driven from Leeds especially. The reductions for minor damages were extremely good value and I was glad that I'd not shelled out for wheel repairs in advance. To top it all off, I was given a lift to the station just in time for my train. Five stars well deserved! Did I mention how friendly they were? They're a credit to the company.
