I found this gem last year, having lost my old service station of many years due to the ill health of one of the partners forced to close. The people are very friendly helpful and honest, the prices are very fair, this is my new go to station.
Amazing service, friendly staff, my car was cleaned inside and out which was a nice surprise. This was the 2nd garage car was taken to to resolve a knocking sound and they fixed it first time, very knowledgable, would highly recommend .
If only all service garages were like Crossroads. From the first contact to paying, not a bad word to say. Excellent telephone booking so helpful even when I mentioned about having to collect my Grandson up from School, flexibility was not a problem. I waited in the reception and had a cup of tea. 30minutes later my car was ready for the road. Already booked my MOT for next year. Thank you so much.
Had a brake problem 20 meters from this place and was relieved that it happened this close to a garage. They however refused to help me so I had to get a mobile mechanic which obviously took hours. Enough said …
I am particular who services / repairs my cars and I have been using Crossroads Service station for over 15 years. I have always received excellent service and the quality of their workmanship is excellent. I would highly recommend.
I always use Crossroads. I work on my own cars but come MOT time crossroads always get my business. You get a no nonsense service with no money making things on the side like other local garages tend to do. If a headlight needs a tweak they just do it for you and dont charge if its straightforward. If the car or bike needs anything else you get shown it on the ramp if need be. I won't go anywhere else.
I could hear a rather loud and worrying noise coming from my car one Thursday morning. I was concerned because I was due to go to Devon the following Monday which is a trip 100+ miles. Crossraods were excellent. I phoned them and they fitted me in on Friday. I know they were busy but they said they would and I felt really reassured by this. They were honest about what the problem was- a minor issue - a stone in the brakes- but they had also cleaned the brakes out and made sure everything was smooth. I was so happy- AND they cleaned the car too which saved me a job the next day. What a great service from a family owned garage that really show you they care. Highly recommend.
I've had a few repair jobs done with Crossroads now, and have to say I am very pleased. They are a small independently run family business, and seem to be professional, honest, and reliable, and work is always completed on time with telephone updates as appropriate. Charges are fair and reasonable too.
