I recently booked my car in for an MOT, it passed but had a few advisoryβs, some of which I was unsure what they meant, the staff member there took the time to explain them to me. Would highly recommend, nothing was too much trouble and staff were really helpful and polite.

Great efficient service. A lack of parking is the only negative so drop off in Lichfield can be a bit chaotic. Helpful friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Been here now for a good few years. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else. The staff are honest, friendly, respectful & professional. Would highly recommend to anyone using this garage.

I SERIOUSLY suggest you phone before turning up for your arranged appointment, to check that they have you booked for the time you THINK you've booked - AND that they actually HAVE any parts you're having fitted. WHY? Had booked to have an item fitted, left car with them, returned 1 hour later, to be told the part hadn't been in stock, but they'd ordered one, that was due to arrive any minute, (which in fairness it did.) Said they didn't have my phone number to get in touch & let me know - when I KNOW I'd given both landline & mobile numbers when I booked.) BUT WAIT - while my part was being fitted, someone arrived for a pre-arranged item to be fitted - GUESS WHAT - not in stock, but was on order & would arrive in about 3 hours time, which was going to cause a real problem for the Customer, (sorry, the frustrated person being a nuisance, by expecting that things would to be as booked!) DON'T GO YET - someone else was dropping a car off for a pre-arranged service, to be told they were 3 hours early, when they were adamant they had the correct time! All of this happened within a 15 minute period! WHATEVER else was going to happen later in the day to all the other people turning up to cause problems for Halfords! So - take my advice, GIVE 'EM A CALL BEFORE TURNING UP!!!

My daughter recently took her car for an MOT. It failed due to a leaking shock absorber and was told it needed replacing and it was Halford policy to replace both. Took car for retest and new Shock Absorbers and paid (an amount I would expect for replacing both). Just by accident whilst cleaning the car we discovered, the paperwork showed they only fitted one Shock Absorber even though my daughter (and me were told they would replace both.) having spent 5 weeks and numerous phone calls to their so called customer service we finally received an email answering a completely different issue which was not part of the original complaint. I am extremely disappointed that an organisation like this is happy to lie, blame the customer and despite going against their own internal policy (available on their website) refuse to take any responsibility.

Very disappointed with Halfords, I should have known better really, these city centre multi site franchises, Formula One, Kwik Fit, etc are all the same. Been here last 2 Mots, no advisories on this car since 2015. Car only does 1500 miles a year. However, it failed on front lower suspension arm bush offside. As I still had almost a month left on the mot, I said Iβd take it DM Autos in Alrewas for any repairs and a second opinion. Well, both lower arms needed doing and the near side was so bad the bush fell out when the mech took it off the car to show me. The price to fix this was 1/2 the cost of Halfords and was even told I would need realignment when I didnβt as they didnβt need to touch the track rod ends. So lesson is, find a local, out of town shop you can trust, you wonβt be ripped off and wonβt end up driving a death trap. The shop might look rough and there wonβt be a cappuccino machine, so take your choices.

AVOID, AVOID AVOID! Terrible service, they cancelled my MOT and full service they day before its due! Leaving me unable to get an MOT done in time before I went away. Made absolutely no effort to accommodate even the MOT in the time available.

Mot booked at the drop of a hat the team managed to fit me in nice quick Mot too, quick results and listened to my opinion with what to do next didn't pressure me into spending to much. Assisted with my work commitments and picking up the car, would rate this team highly great management and friendly team.
