   Great to have a venue this good so local to me! We went to see Limehouse Lizzy last Friday, who were amazing. Here are the pros and cons of the venue itself that night: Pros: - small and intimate - very friendly staff - great beer, reasonable prices - ok acoustics Cons: - The gig was advertised as 7:30 to 11pm. But we weren't even let in until 8:15. No explanation was offered. If it had been raining everyone would have been soaked. The band didn't start until 9:15 and it didn't finish until 11:30. - long queues to get to the (fairly small) bar area - but in such a small venue there's no way around this. But all in all, I'd still thoroughly recommend! -.

   I love the friendly, warm atmosphere of this whole set up.I ve gone to stuff on my own and felt completely safe which is a rarity for the nighttime scene in my experience.Also heard some bloody brilliant music here-top notch.

   Great little venue. Gives local artists a chance to perform on stage. Great night tonight.5 acts on . free entrance and to top it all off my grandson and his band, the marble arches won the battle of the bands. Well done lads. Great bar with inexpensive drinks. All round a great venue
