Beautiful family-run business! I've lived across the UK and Ireland and dealt with many garages who overcharge, mess about, and lie about work done. Had a recent experience with Southdell Garage for headlamp adjustments, very smooth experience, initially told £10 over the call but they didn't charge anything later and fixed it for me quickly. Definitely coming again for my next MOT to Southdell :) Highly recommend.
It's always scary taking your car to a garage, but I can honestly say I dont feel like that with Southdell.I've been here a few times now and I'm extremely happy with everything each time. Such a lovely team,the guy in reception is always so polite. I will definitely be recommending my friends and family.
Called late afternoon last Wednesday about a service and MOT. Got an instant quote and a next day appointment due to a cancellation. No issues dropping the car off early morning before work and it was done earlier than expected. Would have no problems recommending this garage to friends and family. My only gripe is I was charged £3 for a screenwash, i am sure most people never check, but i ran out about a week later... so there is no way it was filled up. Not a huge issue, but left me thinking if they didn't check that, what else didn't they check.
Harvey is very helpful and friendly. The prices are reasonable. My car was ready a day early. Thank you guys.
They get busy around the 4.30 mark, but they're good people and do good work
Harvey, Mick and the other lads provide reasonably priced servicing. Have sorted problems that other garages have not been able to fix. Finally a trustworthy garage that you can rely on. Cannot recommend them enough. Update: still using them and they are still great for servicing and repairs
I would just like to thank Harvey and his team for repairing my car today ... I wasn't able to take my car to the garage due to work, so Harvey came picked it up then bought it back to my workplace after it had been repaired. I'm so grateful and will recommend this garage to anyone who needs an excellent service.
