We called here after a lengthy walk. It is everything you want in a pub. Great well kept beer, proper pub interior, friendly landlord. Just wish we lived nearer!

Called in here when I was staying nearby. Called in with the dog to dry off after we got drenched walking back from Bronte Waterfalls. Very friendly proper old Yorkshire local pub. Guinness was £4.90 so very cheap indeed. I wish I had a local pub like this in Windsor!
Great to see a village pub open on a Monday and busy with regulars in the front room on a Monday afternoon. 3 cask lines from Yorkshire breweries, traditional warm interior with multiple rooms. Cosy and intimate. Great to see a pub designed for socialising in a Yorkshire village rather than a grey dining gastropub
A proper pub with proper well kept beer! Proper friendly pub dogs too! It was great meeting Eli and Billy! Unfortunately we didn't have treats in our pockets..
Opens at 1.30pm every day and good pool table
Great pub traditional as in the name very friendly reasonable prices
Stopped off for a lemonade with open country,the barman was very patient with us all buying our individual drinks.It was nice enough to sit in the beer garden
