Good pint of Tim Taylor's available here - and a nice view from the beer garden whilst drinking it. Real out of the way place and grea to come across it when needing some refreshment. Good for walkers exploring the valley.

Food was lovely and decent sized portions and service was great! They have a large beer garden and it's in a nice secluded area in the hills. Dogs are welcome too which is a bonus. All round lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and locals.

No food currently due to injury, however, what an amazing Country pub with a fascinating history and stunning cosy interior. Open fire, beams, friendly staff, amazing views. Motorhome welcome. The best pub I've been to in the last 12 months!

Stopped off during a dog walk. Local Beer was good. They let dogs in but don't serve food on Mon Tues or Wed's... bit disappointed about the food thing but everything else was great

We popped in Sunday after wanting to try here for a while. Very friendly staff and was seated quickly, drinks bought over. We were with our 2 year old son who loved it in there. Staff were very accommodating and the food was delicious. The beef for the Sunday roast was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend and we will be back

I called in for a swift half after first visiting this pub in the 1970,'s. Purely nostalgia. It hadn't changed a bit. I might have changed, but this pub hasn't. Thank God. A slice of peace and tranquility. I was envious of the landlord, living in this Taborial ( Wainstallian ) paradise. Visit, just visit. Thank You, Landlord.

This is a real gem. The sort of pub you only find from recommendation. They have an award from Timothy Taylor's for the way they look after their beer - and it is well deserved. There is also a gorgeous blonde pulling the pints. What's not to like?
