   I had a fantastic experience at the Mamas & Papas store when I bought my pushchair. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful - especially Victoria. She took the time to talk me through all the options, answered every question with patience, and made sure I chose the buggy that was perfect for my needs.The whole process felt easy and stress-free, and I left feeling confident and excited about my purchase. When it was time to collect my order, Aaliyah had kindly helped us to set it up, showed us again how everything works and made sure that we got all information. I’d definitely recommend Mamas & Papas in New Malden to anyone looking for quality baby products and excellent customer service!

   I will have to say I was so impressed a couple of weeks ago with Michelle and Moses! They went well above my expectations by making it possible to purchase items last minute. My phone battery had died and Moses went and found a power bang after the store had closed so I could purchase my items through my phone while Michelle waited patiently and was really helpful. Thank you guys!!!

They provided a few suitable options for our requirements and were very patient in answering all of our questions as first timers.    Avoid this store and just go straight to the bigger one in Croydon. Unhelpful staff especially towards new parents!!! At 8 months pregnant, I visited the store with a full list of baby items I wanted to buy. Initially, I didn’t expect much more than basic help, but once I saw there was only one other couple in the store, being assisted by another staff member while they looked at prams, I was hoping for some hands-on assistance too. Instead, the staff member I spoke to stayed behind the counter, simply pointing to where items were rather than showing me in person, which meant walking back and forth to the counter each time! I wasn’t offered a bag as well so I had to carry everything in my hands. When I asked for recommendations on baby carriers, the staff member finally left the counter to point me to a carrier stored on the very bottom shelf, almost touching the floor. She didn’t pick it up to show me; instead, I had to bend down myself, struggling not to drop everything I was holding. At 8 months pregnant, this was extremely difficult. Of course, I don’t expect her to do anything for me, but when you see an 8-month-pregnant woman clearly struggling, the least you can do is get the item for her instead of just watching. It’s basic common decency. When I got to the till, I mentioned I had a voucher code as I had already spent an extreme amount on one of their pram bundles. She told me it couldn’t be used in-store, only to change her mind after I showed her an email from Mamas & Papas confirming otherwise. I don’t expect special treatment, but I do expect courtesy and consideration, especially from a store aimed at expectant parents!!!
