   Beware conning people trying to scam money for a fault that does not exist on car. Had my MOT from them and they called me to say the car failed on brake pads and washer pump for wipers I told them I will collect the car get it repaired and bring it back for a retest, and they said to me that they have ordered the parts without asking me and I told them I don't want to get it repaired from you and later then when I went to collect my car the Fail MOT certificate did not even mention brake pads, it was failed for washer pump not working for wipers wand when I tried the wipers with washer pump Infront of them guess what? It was working, they wanted to charge me £160 for front brake pad change and washer pump when nothing needed changing. Beware of this garage

   They have fitted my starter motor and it works now UPDATE: Since Hayers have fitted my starter motor for me around a month ago I’ve gone to Cornwall and since getting here my car hasn’t started this has resulted in me having to buy a new starter motor to replace the one they fitted for me. The brand new starter I have given them has got signs of being hit with a hammer it was incorrectly wired up causing it to short and burn out and one of the bolts holding it to the bell housing was left out they had my car all day with the mechanic telling me it’s took him 6 hours to do the job then why could I do it in 2

   The men who run this shop are quite an honest bunch of lads. Bought a pickup several months back and called to ask if they could take a look at it before purchasing. They only charged me £20 to do an inspection on it to check for any needed repairs. All the dealers I called in the area wanted to charge £140 + VAT for the same thing. The shop owner and his son have done quality work for a fair price and don't upsell on unneeded services. They even helped me facilitate the pick-up of a recent vehicle I bought sight-unseen and had delivered to this shop for some work, since I live in Germany. These lads are proper kind and do honest work.

   Clutch replaced 3 times until they get it right. Have they blamed the gearbox but it was running absolutely fine,even them couldn’t find an issue to the gearbox when asked why do they blame this at fault! the only isssue it was the flywheel as the car has been diagnosed with a flywheel issue (not gearbox) by another garage after the clutch kit has been replaced 2nd time and had the same problem. Been advised to get the car back to them to sort it out as that been under the warranty.Ended up by replacing the gearbox for the peace of mind and the clutch kit for the 3rd time. A piece of metal holding the right drive shaft has fallen on the road while driving, starter motor fails, all this after couple of days. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
