They only charged me £20 to do an inspection on it to check for any needed repairs. All the dealers I called in the area wanted to charge £140 + VAT for the same thing. The shop owner and his son have done quality work for a fair price and don't upsell on unneeded services. They even helped me facilitate the pick-up of a recent vehicle I bought sight-unseen and had delivered to this shop for some work, since I live in Germany. These lads are proper kind and do honest work.”

Can have many chats about vans, motorbikes and rock music festivals whilst he’ll work on your vehicle if you’re keen to hang about and he’ll even explain and show you what he’s doing and point stuff out before it goes wrong too. His friendly wife will always offer a drink and a chat if she’s not too busy with the paperwork too, which is a bonus. Just a real shame he doesn’t work on vw t5 2.5 engines. He’ll gladly service and MOT them or do things like track rod end and anti roll bar links etc though.”

In typical fashion, the noise disappeared on the drive over. However, the team at Yorkies gave my car a thorough inspection to ensure all wheels and suspension components were in good condition. During their inspection, they noticed that one of my daytime running lights wasn’t working and promptly replaced it. When I was ready to pay, they refused any payment, explaining that it was a quick diagnostic and the bulbs were cheap. Despite my insistence to pay, they stood firm. This is the kind of family-run business where you can build lasting relationships. Their honesty, thoroughness, and excellent customer service have made me a loyal customer. I will definitely bring all my car needs here in the future. Highly recommended!”
