I am very happy with the care I receive from NIMP. The doctors are knowledgeable and clearly up to date with recent medical guidance. They really listen and try to help rather than brushing you off and they are always empathetic ❤️ Appointments are given quickly and as a family working full time, we really appreciate that they make an effort to offer appointments outside regular working hours. Despite the pressures on the NHS they continue to provide amazing care. I have been very pleased with the service for the past five odd years.

A great service - with all the nhs cuts, they are still running so well. Great digital set up once you are used to it. The advanced clinical practitioner is better than many GPs I have seen in the past - so helpful and really great at listening and gathering information. Access to blood test appts remains great, can choose where to have the test as well. I am just really lucky I moved to this area and found this practice. Phone appointments happen next day. Very responsive via messaging. keep it up! You’re doing great, despite everything.

Great experience! Called in the morning, was triaged, had a callback within an hour or two and was seen later that morning. I should say that I had an issue with my heart - my Apple Watch was saying I may be suffering from Atrial Fibriliation, so I’m not sure if this means I was prioritised (and therefore not all appointments are given this quickly), but I was super impressed. Service was friendly, Doctor was nice. Top marks!

Excellent service so far. The receptionists are very kind and extremely helpful, especially Michelle, who is one of the most active and wonderful receptionists I have come across. The nurse, particularly Kellie, who recently consulted me about my general health, was very attentive and provided thorough, supportive care. The whole team consistently go the extra mile to support their patients. I highly recommend this practice. Regards, Dr HADDAD

Always had positive experiences with this GP surgery. Everyone from admin staff to nurses to doctors have all been lovely and very helpful. I have been in face to face for appointments as well as use their online system and had telephone appointments. All of which I found easy to use and was seen quickly. Just recently I submitted an appointment request online and thought it would all be sorted online (previously I was asked to send photos prior to medication being prescribed. I had tonsillitis and this way is usually easy and quick). But I was asked to come in on the day which was a nice surprise. The doctor was friendly and supportive. Would definitely recommend!

I initially rang at short botice and was given a phone appointment with the doctor. The doctor managed to fit me in at short notice, which was good. When I got there, I was waiting for an additional 20 minutes on top of the allocated time, which was frustrating, however Jacob on the front desk was very helpful and reassuring. He provided updates from doctors whenever there was one and was patient. He went out of his way to help me locate my antibiotics and get them sent to the right place, and helped me find my NHS number - very friendly and accommodating. Once I saw the doctor, he was helpful and professional too. The experience was positive overall.

I had a great experience with this practice. They were polite, efficient and compassionate. I really loved it. It's very difficult to find GP practice like that. Thank you so much for your top quality service.

I’ve been a patient here since I moved to Manchester in 2003. Back then it was Dr. Ali & Dr. Gilbert who I saw who were amazing. Empathetic and committed to giving necessary space to their patients. Whilst living abroad, I even preferred to come back to UK to receive care here as I just felt it was unmatched. I’ve just left the practice today and I am never returning again. This is a hard but honest review. I live in Wigan now, which I mentioned on the phone, but still came all the way out of trust that I would be cared for. I struggle to sit, its aches and hurts to sit, full body pains, knees, ankles, pelvis. I wasn’t even recommended painkillers. Just to repeat bloods and swabs tests though I let them know, I had literally already done them a few days ago at A&E. I refused to do these repeat tests because of this, and but described that I felt myself getting worse, hard to move. Irregular bleeding, feeling weak. To which I was told that none of my symptoms were a “cause for concern” (paraprhased but this was the vibe) despite it persisting for 2 months, and still being present after 2 rounds of antibiotics back to back. In the end I was referred to me a scan (due to my direct request, and my persistence that I felt there was something very wrong) and as I have moved my UK residence to Wigan, all what was said, repeatedly, at the end was that I should change my address on the way out. And that was it. No goodbye, take care, advice on how to manage the pain or anything. I can only imagine the stress doctors are under, especially in busy areas like ancoats. But especially as this kind of dismissal and lack of compassion is common to black women in healthcare, its indeed triggering and hurtful. Absolutely distraught by this treatment, especially as this practice was really close to my journey due their care and previous reliability. The least that could have been done was to offer some solutions in the meantime. Oh & btw, no mention of the fact that my address in wigan is obviously too far away. And that I would get deregistered from the system before I could even get the scan invitation. Waste of a journey, could have been dismissed like this over the phone and save energy in travel & expectations.

Such an excellent practice - reception staff were fab when I had an issue with an appointment. Katy I. who did my smear test was brilliant - calm, friendly, clear, kind - explained everything, made sure I was totally comfortable and was quick but gentle. (Ladies - don't put it off - get your smear!)
