   "I recently dined at The Turnpike and was thoroughly impressed with the service, especially from a staff member named Roybn. From the moment I walked in, Roybn was attentive, friendly, and professional. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Roybn made sure our drinks were always filled and that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Their exceptional service truly enhanced our dining experience, and I would highly recommend The Turnpike because of staff like Roybn. We'll definitely be back!"

   17 of us attempted to stop off here yesterday evening on route home. The group contained some Under 18s but we were told they were not allowed in. That is perfectly understandable and acceptable but it needs to be clearer as we walked straight past the door staff who said nothing, we then stood at the bar for at least 3-4 minutes before anything was said. In this time some of the group had been served and paid leaving us in limbo and having to split up to go elsewhere. Had the door staff been doing their job properly that situation could have been avoided, we would have known from the start and happily accepted the answer and moved on.

   Trip out to see my best mate's sister n partner with his grandson who has cerebral palsy. Pub is wheelchair friendly n dog friendly. Very comfortable n extremely polite n friendly bar staff. And they had a right selection of draught beers. My mate n I had a couple of pints of draught mango cider - outstanding. All in all a most enjoyable afternoon

   Visited here on Sunday for lunch and it was very quiet. The food was okay (I had the 'BBQ Mac Burger + Chips') and the staff were friendly enough, but the place just had no atmosphere. Decent pricing at £15.49 for the meal and a drink.

   Had meal there over Christmas. Nice atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly. Very good choice of beers . The food was well presented. My lasagne was piping hot as it should be fresh from the over . My wife's bangers and mash was again well presented, but could have a bit warmer . All in a pleasant experience. Well done the management.

   Such a warm welcome from behind the bar as soon as we walked in. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The bar itself is clean and tidy and feels homely wherever you’re sat. Live sports visible from wherever you’re sat, what more could you ask for. I’ll be returning for sure!!

   Went in with family yesterday 20/11/22 what a lovely atmosphere. Also food was excellent nicely cooked and plenty as well also could off had extra without paying. Also good choice of drinks and the staff were very helpful and friendly looking forward too going again soon cheers
