   Delicious food. Steak pie exceptional. But a little quiet. I have amended my review as it appeared we weren't satisfied with our experience which was not the case. It being quiet isn't a negative and the food was excellent. Service too was attentive and very good.

   First time visiting since new owners and it was lovely. The interior is stunning and nothing like I expected. Friendly staff and fast service. Good choice of food and a good kids menu with colouring. Big portions and tasty meals. I had a jacket potato with tuna and cheese, my partner had a bacon cheese burger and our daughter had a kids pizza. All delicious and very filling.

   Second time we’ve been since the new owners and it’s been fabulous on both occasions. Such a variety on the menu so there is something for everyone and the kids menu is great too. Food is amazing and the portions are huge so you’ll never leave on an empty stomach. The staff are friendly and attentive and really care about their customers. We enjoyed our time here, thank you! X

   This is our favourite place to eat in Bawtry. It’s not just value for money, the food is delicious with a wide variety of choices to suit most tastes and diets. The service is prompt warm and friendly. Highly recommend the salted caramel and cappuccino roulade and the steak and ale pie. That said there are so many choices it’s difficult to choose! A fantastic, traditional pub (with not a bad gin selection too!), well worth a try!

   Absolute find!!! Excellent traditional pub. Super friendly owners and the atmosphere at the quiz night was brilliant. Everybody was on form and we had a great time. Can't wait to get back for another quiz, some excellent food and the general atmosphere of the whole place which is amazing. Thank You The Ship and all who sale in her, for a lovely evening, see you soon xx

   Very disappointed Went out with the family for food at ship Inn bawtry, everyone enjoyed the fish and chips and I got the mix grill, I asked to change the beef for something eles as I dont eat beef due to religious reasons. The waitress rolled her eyes and huffed at me however it was swapped for more sausage. The gammon and lamb was really nice however the rest of it was horrendous the 4 sausages I got were dreadful I complained and was huffed at by the waitress. Then the chef came out to say I should not be complaining because he went "out of his way" for me but as you can see by the picture some sausages where burnt and some where underdone. Would not recommend and was made to feel uncomfortable

   Absolutely lovely, friendly & welcoming staff. Great meals and good variety for everyone Inc vegetarian and vegan. Don't know whether there is a kids menu as I didn't ask but if not there is still plenty of choice from the main & extras menu. Dog friendly area in back room and staff are just as welcoming to them too. 100% recommend.
