Old fashioned boozer with lots of characters both young and aged. Good music, good standard of service. Prices right. A good venue to have laugh. Clean and tidy. Small but nice. Well worth a visit.

A really good traditional pub situated in the town centre, very popular with the locals, has sky sports. Very clean and provides beer mats (most pubs don't bother.) Child friendly and good service from behind the bar, clean toilets, competitive prices, good range of beers etc on pumps. When in Doncaster I always call in.

Absolutely awful, management and staff. Ordered a drink. Clearly not right, gas or syrup on post mix ran out. Politely asked for it to be replaced. No issues. But after 5 minutes still no drink. Asked again, was given another. Still awful, even the server agreed. Obviously needed pulling through system. Waited again. Asked about my drink and if I could have a refund as friends all leaving to be told no. No drink, no refund, as nothing wrong. I can understand they may think we are all "drunk" when we visit but obviously not all of us are. Manager was "too busy" to talk when asked if I could speak to him. No drink, yet money taken. Im sure that goes against any consumers rights. Try understanding your market. Awful experience.

Would avoid at all costs Was there for my birthday, had been there an hour not had any problems with drinks all night, headed to the toilet with my drink and a man was talking to my friend I didn’t quite hear what he was saying so I carried on heading to toilet, said man lunged out of his chair screaming in my face claiming he was the landlord, swearing at me calling me a drunk cxnt he was practically spitting on me with how much he was shouting - only put the rating up to a 2 due to the lovely lady behind the bar other than that wouldn’t recommend.

Great if you want a cheap drink. I got a pint and a bottle of cider and I think I got change from a fiver. Venue is not amazing though but it is what it is

Cheap and cheerful, the staff are friendly, always quite busy

I deliberately went because it was a craft union pub. The pricing structure was typically very cheap and may John Smith's was excellent. The TV's were showing horse racing and other sports. What I found amazing was that there were only four other people in the pub when I entered, not what I'm used to in those I frequent in Hull. I later found out that there was an alternative craft union pub only a few yards further down the road, maybe that's better use. I'll have to try it on my next visit

It's okay, staff polite and friendly, but it's not really a place I could get comfertable in. The music choose was pretty good the karaoke seems fun. But this seems like a place for tight knit bunch of people that go regularly and I was definitely an outsider. If wasn't obvious enough it had been mentioned that I don't look like the regular kinda crowd. Too many eyes watching for me, it's fairly intimidating. I felt more constable outside where people could talk to me which made it feel more inviting. Has some good offers on the alcohol depending on what you like.
