Very friendly staff on arrival, sorted out our meal choices as had to swap something due to the pre order not showing what I wanted for one of the kids but they dealt with it for us no issue. Drinks reasonably priced. Really enjoyed our meal and evening out thank you
First time at this pub and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the car park, internal areas and toilets. I had the carvery which was hot and well cooked. The staff member who served me was called Sophie she was polite, friendly yet professional. Even during the meal I was asked if everything was OK. Will definitely come back.
Worst food ever eaten, rubber steak ordered medium came well done, baguette literally inedible, chicken alarmingly white, absolute joke. Unbelievable waste of money, go to McDonald’s!
Overall the experience was great, seated quickly and ordered using the app. My companions meal came quickly and was lovely. My carvery ticket was also given to me. But the drinks were forgotten. However this was resolved quickly. Meat and veg on the carvery was great but the Yorkshire puddings had clearly been sat for a while and was dry and brittle.
Had the carvery which was reasonably priced and their was plenty of meat on the serving, plenty of veg to choose from. There was plenty of room available when we were there and didn't book in advance but didn't have to wait. They've got a decent selection of food items on their menu as well as the carvery so you have a good selection. Plenty of choices at the bar for your drinks - hot or cold too - we would definitely return. All the staff we dealt with were very pleasant.
A lovely place for a carvery. I have been coming here since i was like 9 maybe even before. It is a staple in my family for a place to go to eat for someone’s birthday and we are never disappointed. Amazing value for money. Lovely staff who always make you feel welcome. Nice ambiance. Good drinks.
I came into the House Martin (Wheatley, Doncaster) for a carvery meal with Myself, My Son, My Mum and My Grandad. It was on the 28th August 2022 that we came in to eat. It was a Sunday. We were greeted at the door and served by Linzi. She was so friendly and happily engaged in talking. She was efficient in her work and very thorough. She came across like she wanted to provide us with the best eating experience we could have and she pulled it off to a tea! Very nice family oriented atmosphere.
