   Famiy an I went along for xmas lunch,It was absolutly beautiful. Very well prosented,staff very attentive as i suffer from a diabetic problem they got in special deserts for me ,Would recommend to all .

   Been coming to the Ivanhoe for many years .The current landlord and landlady make and staff make you feel welcome on arrival I’ve seen the food that looks lovely but never tried and until recently. I had the burger with bacon cheese and onion rings stack which was very tasty. We also had spicy bean burger and the pie all three meals were delicious I would recommend you give it a try it’s reasonably priced . Sorry no pictures as it’s a digital detox pub .

   We always get excellent service- the food is cooked fresh and served promptly. It is lovely pub grub. There is plenty of space and the Ivanhoe has a great friendly atmosphere.Highly recommended.

   Had a lovely lunch with friends. Service and staff were excellent. Food was fabulous Went again for a second visit yesterday (16/06/2025) with our daughter and son in law. I can honestly say it was every bit as good as our first visit! Staff extremely pleasant and friendly. The pub itself is beautifully decorated and has a very cosy atmosphere. As with all Sam Smith pubs, there is a no mobile phone policy, which I think is brilliant, no piped music which is perfect for me as I have profound hearing problems and music makes it a nightmare to have conversations. The outdoor seating overlooks the cricket pitch so provides an ideal viewing platform for fans of the game. I look forward to many more visits to the Ivanhoe in the future. Highly recommend it for other to try!

   So relaxing after a two and half Hours walking to get there well Worth the effort. Good pint loads of local people Known them for many years. Lots of natter taxi back , Try it the Trans Pen Way Cons viaduct, Don Towpath, Off after Rainbow Bridge. So many paths you can take from this area great to explore You won't be disappointed.
