I have been using Gerry for services, MOTs and all other mechanical faults on a number of cars over the years (about 15 years), he even sold me his immaculate Saab 93 convertible.
Nothing was too much trouble with the staff helping us buying a car from here, we would certainly recommend this garage to anyone for their service and expertise,
Brilliant garage. Took my car here for its MOT today. It unfortunately failed, but the garage called with a price to put the faults right, and i had the car back within a few hours. The price was very reasonable, and the staff were very professional. I'll be taking my car here for any future MOT'S and work which needs doing. A great experience!
I have started using this garage of late and have to say, they have been extremely helpful and have undertaken thorough services on my cars. I have also called on short notice, as my car wasn't accelerating properly and was concerned, as I was going away. They managed to fit me in, to get the car checked. Great service all round.
Good selection of disability vehicles.
Took my car for an MOT, failed on low brake pads so brake performance was not tested, when it went back with new brake pads and the brake performance was tested I was charged a £10 retest fee although between the retest and the original MOT test the brake performance was only tested once. When I questioned this I was just told that they don't advertise free retests. In my opinion abit unfair and abit of a scam, I recommend being cautious if you use this garage, I won't be going back.
Very thorough on mot, way more thorough than any other garage but at least you know your vehicle is up to scratch. Good reasonable prices. Took my vw transporter in. Cost £40 for MOT and £150 to put the work right, 2x new gear linkages supplied and fitted as originals had dust covers missing, 2x indicator lamps replaced as they said the previous ones did not have a strong enough orange tinge, headlight alignment and 1x new headlight bulb supplied and fitted.
