   I visited this great pub in Doncaster This great real ale pub has to be a essential visit for all real ale drinkers who come to donny Great comfortable micro style pub Saturday 6th September 2025 This is a brilliant real ale pub situated in the Market place it has a grand choice of real ales on offer at good landlord and a good clientelle This is one of my top 5 real ale pubs to visit when hunting out real ale pubs in Doncaster Tuesday 11th November 2025 Today I again visited this well run real ale pub Good landlord great range of interesting hand pulled ales friendly easy going pub with a indoor and outdoor drinking area. Nothing has changed negatively from my recorded earlier visits One of doncasters top real ale pubs

   Great little ale House every time we go into town we call in great selection of ales. Stuart the owner prides himself for stocking real ales from independent brewers from home & abroad. He is a very friendly guy with all his customers.

   Madge brought me to see the market place. There is a large indoor market with lots of additional stalls spread about outside. One of the best UK markets we have been to. As you would hope there are plenty of pubs and bars around the market. ( Traditional to get drunk on market days!) Spotted this ale house selling five real ales. Madge ordered a half from Welbeck brewery. Red Feather 3.9%. A good beer. As usual the " coming soon" list has beers from breweries new to me. Nice interior and outside seating in front. Perfect on a cloudy summer day.

   Top notch. A warm welcome awaits from mein hosts Lisa and Tony. Cracking little bar to escape the madness. Good friendly crowd. Great selection of beers (& Gins). Worth an hour or 3 of anyone's time.

   2020 Covid review Opening hours seem stale now. There's hand sanitise on the way in. No wifi. You can message them by Facebook to reserve a table. They have only 4 taps of real ales but no bottle any more. Expensive for Donny, 1.80 a half or 3.60 a pint. Old review Lovely place with 10 taps and loads of bottles. Prices are expensive for Doncaster but there is plenty of choice
