   Carvery was great...a thousand times better than the cardboard you eat at Toby. The bakewell cheesecake was to die for. Can't fault this place. We will be back, especially if my Grampa pays for pudding again!

   Had a joint birthday party at here last night absolutely amazing all staff very attentive making sure we had the best time possible. We ordered 10 pizzas they were out of this world hot fresh and amazingly tasty all the guests were commenting on them 10 pizzas gone in 5 minutes says it all can't recommend this place enough. All meals our outstanding have eaten hear on numerous occasions back today for my Sunday dinner.

   As a leader of a walking group, this is our second group visit and what a welcome with hospitality at the forefront and nothing was too much trouble. Now down to the nitty-gritty you have a wonderful selection of food and drink and your sharing-ploughmans is the best I have experienced in a very long time. The quality, selection and sizable portions is second to none. It was wonderful, Ooops nearly forgot the prices are exceptionally good. I will recommend and there is other exciting meals I need to try. Ken

   A fantastic, proper pub with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Always a perfect pint, whether it's Guinness, lager, nitro keg bitter, or cider, and all at a very reasonable prices. The food is amazing and the Sunday carvery is without a doubt the best I've had. The prices are also really good.

   What a breath of fresh air to the village. Paul and Sarah really have turned this pub around through time and money mostly out of their pockets. New menu coming soon. Very welcoming atmosphere. It’s a great place.

   The White Swan has become the pub of choice for both my family and colleagues. This was my 5th visit this year and as ever, the food was AMAZING. It really is a hidden gem, I can't believe it's not busier. Great prices and huge portions in a lovely setting. Give it a go, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

   Visited for Sunday lunch for the first time today. Excellent food, large portions, very tasty and piping hot and served with a big jug of gravy. Managed pudding and that was also very tasty. Great value for money at a lovely village pub with great friendly staff.
