   Advertising food, arrived at 1.30pm waited for a few minutes before anyone appeared to serve us, no food being served, and no apology or explanation as to why , just a few grunts from the lad behind the bar, who didn't seem to care if we lived or died, the was TV blaring, and a selection of miserable looking customers sitting around the edges of the large room, all looking at us like we'd cut their favourite pets head off and decided to wear it as a broach, it was like a scene from An American Werewolf in London, we realise pubs can't chose their clientele but it was really unwelcomming and so we didn't even stop for a drink

   Travellers rest is a nice place with a nice beer garden, the staff are friendly and the prices are not to bad either. Will recommend to anyone, as I will be back .
