Friday lunch with friends, service was great, food was very good basic fare and super value (2 meals for £12 which you don't see anymore!).
Was so nice language unfortunately i could not eat it all as hot weather but the lovely lady said when i was cheeky to ask for a doggy bag/take restback to the digs where saying qnd they was more happy to do me a takeaway box so thank you
Started to explore our local area . Our 1st visit we were greeted by Mac . 2 meals and a drink just under £23. Tasty Home made meals. We were very impressed with everything . Service , atmosphere, Even popped back the next week for an afternoon meal . Really glad I found my new local pub which sells home made grub

Good atmosphere, busy but plenty of friendly staff so minimal wait at bar. Good selection of drinks but no real ale..
We love taking my Grandma here every time we visit her. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is really good, generous portions and amazingly priced. I seriously recommend going here if you're in Clowne. You won't be disappointed. They also have ramp access which is great as my Grandma is wheelchair bound.
Decent food affordable drinks and a decent crowd the bike nights on a Monday draw a decent free bike show if you're into that sort of thing but if you're not they keep ro themselves and don't get in the way
A lovely pub situated on the outskirts of the small town of clowne. The food is simply, awesome! Tastey, plentiful and of a really good price. The staff are worth their weight in gold, and were present when needed, but stayed at the bar (which is always busy) when not.
