The customer service was amazing and the food was delicious, extremely friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere. I will be returning i really recommend Cavendish its the best pub ever!
This is the most incredible pub i’ve been to all the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the food is always on point and extremely flavourful. The pub is always clean and kept up to standards. I will definitely be attending this pub again
We tried this Marstons pub last night for the first time as we like Marstons and the building and location looked spot on. However inside is a different story, playing garage music which was being controlled by four young girls and terrible, catering equipment everywhere for all to see and a real dingy feeling to it. In the right hands this place could be a gold mine especially with other pubs in the town closing down. First impressions are important and this doesn't have a good one. Bar staff was reasonably friendly and the beer tasted ok. Probably wouldn't return unless we could see changes have happened.
Came here for lunch. It was only 11.35am so we realised we could have a breakfast because it was a while before 12pm. Anyway it got to 12 and the food wasn't delivered. So we asked and told another ten minutes. The pub was virtually empty. Another ten minutes went by and still no food so again we asked now told another five minutes. After five minutes no food so asked again and was told it was coming. It came a minute or two after. By this time the tea we had ordered had been consumed as would have gone cold otherwise. The breakfast was actually really good when it came it was a shame it took so long to arrive.
We called in for an all-day breakfast. It was the best breakfast I've had. Each breakfast is cooked to order. I would highly recommend to all to try it once you've had it. You will be back for more. They also do a great Sunday lunch. Good food and good service from the hostess on Sundays
Nice small, local pub, tasty food, although service wasn't great. They did let us know food would be a while due to a big booking, no problem with that. But 90 minutes later for 4 meals and they got one of them wrong. Also waited half an hour for a coffee.
Very professional environment. Very local feel to it. Exceptional food. Great communication with the staff. Rebekah and Kira were great with our kids and kept them entertained. Also they were great at making our experience comfortable and enjoyable. Will be visiting again for the Sunday roast I've heard so much about!
Came to the Cavendish today for Sunday lunch. I had the Pork (which is in the picture) and the other 2 of my party had Chicken. Can't even begin to put into words how good the food was. Very high quality, large portions at low cost and fresh. The atmosphere was great, which was enhanced by the staff. Thank you to Donna, Kira and Lilly for the fantastic food and good humour. The pub was clean and had good decor. Especially liked that you could see the pizza oven area which gives guests the opportunity to see their food being made which is always a bonus. Can't wait until I'm back in Chesterfield to come again.
