   Thank you to the chef yesterday for a delicious meal. I had arrived starving after a really long drive and missed the afternoon food service by a couple of minutes but the lady still took my order and my food was delicious. Thanks so much!

   Food could have been warmer. Brown bread was stale. When we went to the bar to pay, leaving our coats, drinks and personal belongings at the table,the waitress cleared all our unfinished drinks,without bothering to ask if we'd finished them. As there were 12 of us at the bar she could easily see us.this put a downer on our night. Staff need training.

   The reason for four and not five stars, The Hollngwood has a great feeling and nice atmosphere , my friends are i were planning to use the Hollingwood every Thursday but for one reason most of the menu has skin on chips which we dislike, with no alternative. As the chip form the main menu are part of the food served we feel we won't be using the pub again for our meals.

   We have celebrated 2 events at the Hollingwood in the past 2 weeks;we hosted my parents 50th wedding anniversary in the function room upstairs 2 weeks ago then this Sunday we hosted our daughter and son-in-law babyshower in the food section of the pub downstairs. The venue is beautiful,the staff are amazing especially Chloe,Nicole & Elle. Leanne goes above and beyond to ensure your events go smoothly and you have the best time. Leanne does a lovely buffet with plenty of food infact we took food home from my parents party. Thankyou all for letting us celebrate our families special days at the Hollingwood.

   The bar service was good and the staff very pleasant however we had long wait for our food to be served (over an hour). The food was good quality though when it eventually came.

   Booked for the family of 12 for the Christmas Dinner the meal arrived cold. Desserts was fine. The service was excellent. Will not be going again this was on Sunday 18th December 2022

   Friendly staff , very informative and was made very welcome . Anne who served us at the bar was exactly what you wanted ! Welcoming and friendly with a bit of banter . Leanh was very professional with serving our food asking if we needed anything else . The cook Tom banged out a cracking burger . On the whole a great dinning experience.

   My partner had q pasta Alfredo which he enjoyed. I had the steak deal. It was lovely and the chips were really nice. The atmosphere is good. Decor is cosy and it is very spacious. There's a nice outdoor smoking area and a children's play area. Service was good and our waitress Mia was very friendly and provided excellent service. There is a lovely outdoor area to sit when it's a hot day which is peaceful and relaxing. Definitely come here again.
