Went on Tuesday for a family meal. Service for drinks was very slow even though not many in the place. Ordered food for 6. Three ordered pizzas! Took ages for first meals to come out. Server asked me what pizzas she had brought out. Suggested she check with Chef. She came back several minutes later supposedly knowing which pizza was which. Gave my partner a "vegetable" pizza that didn't have any veg on it. Asked her to check with Chef. Eventually came back with a vegetable pizza and one other. 4 out of the 6 of us now had a meal. Asked where the other two meals were. She went away and got one more meal. I waited a further 15 mins before mine arrived. This was plonked down in front of me. By this time the others had virtually finished and the chef came from the kitchen to apologise. There was only one other table having food and they were having problems too. The chef also apologised to them. There were dirty pots still on the serving counter from an earlier wake. The chef pointed them out to me. Definitely understaffed and under trained. They did refund me approximately half of the food cost but it didn't compensate me for spoiling a family meal. Will need to improve vastly for me to go again.

Visited the drawbridge tonight for the first time in a few years, We were able to bring the dog too. Where do I start? The welcome was lovely like we are regulars. The food was great, we had a mixture of fish & chips, Tikka curry & salt & chilli dirty fries all cooked perfectly. Would highly recommended and will be coming back. Thank you Brad & Paul, just taken over in last couple of days (couldn’t add photos all the food was gone)

Ordered drinks asked for a menu and staff told us they was Only carvery been served which was fine it had a good selection of veg and offered 4 different meats but some of the meat was dry and the beef we had was fatty but overall the veg was nice shame about the meat. Staff seemed friendly enough when ordering food and drinks. Wasn't overly busy plenty of seats

Stayed in a hotel nearby so came here for a bite to eat before we went out. Menu was quite extensive but was out of stock of pretty much everything vegetarian so struggled to fine something for my friend. Food that we did get was nothing special but tasted nice and was value for money. The lady behind the bar was very nice and served with a smile. Its a big place with plenty of seating inside and 2 areas outside with seating, one area being in a garden. They have 2 big areas inside and show sports and possible a carvery as there was a counter for it. It also has plenty of parking with a fair size car park.

Drawbridge was a great place to eat. Tasty juicy buttermilk chicken burger. Meaty double cheesburger and perfectly cooked pizza delivered to our table by friendly helpful staff. On the whole a great menu with some interesting quirky additions. Easily accessed pub and reasonably priced food. Would definitely eat there again if in the area.

We've not been for carvery for a long time so decided to treat family, all requirements met for booking made carvery was lovely. Roast potatoes were slightly dry but this didn't put us off. The only let down was we ordered a kids margarita pizza that took a considerable amount of time the chef shouted for staff to pick up and no response after few minutes my husband got up and went and got the food as he asked if it was kids pizza. We did notice the staff was busy with orders and slow getting them out this is why 5 stars not given. Other than that the staff are very friendly and polite, when I asked for dust pan and brush they were straight to cleaning up the mess my baby did or asking for extra spoon wasn't any trouble at all. Just a few tweaks nothing to put us off visiting again.

Food was decent...eventually. The chef had 3 attempts frying the fish cos they kept breaking it and didn't want to present a plate of bits which is fair enough. Mildly annoying though as my companion had eaten their meal before mine even arrived at the table. The staff were very apologetic and gave us free desserts which was nice.

Great as always, not been here for a while but can fault nothing. Cooked to perfection and presented well. All clean and tidy plus staff go out of their way to ask if everything was ok.

Just called this lunchtime with the wife for a carvery, queued up and got served. Took our drinks to our table and waited while the queue had gone down, only 3 people in front of us but the carver took an age to cut the roasts. Before he got to us, he kept disappearing in the back for whatever and proceeded to carve at a snails pace on his return. He could have either needed a hand or retraining to speed things up as by the time I got served there must have been about 10 more people waiting in the queue. The meal itself was lovely and everything was just nice, we really enjoyed it, just that my wife is disabled and was struggling to stand for the time he took to eventually get to us. Would call again and hopefully drop on someone who is more up to speed.
