Visited here a couple of times whilst working in the area and had mixed experiences, first time they was a female on the bar who was was very polite, they was an offer of some food been cooked in a slow cooker however it didn’t look very appealing. Second visit completely opposite, “gentleman” behind the bar, well I say behind he was sit in the middle of the pub with his feet on the chairs and I was an inconvenience to him by wanting a drink. Not sure if the cleaner had been in for a couple of days as they were crisps on the floor and generally not pleasant to be in, the pub smelt “funky” I’d understand if it was busy however myself and two others were in the pub. Feel like this guy need to go on a customer service training course as this certainly reflects in the lack of customers he had.

Never felt so unwelcome in a sheffield pub. From the staff to the "Locals". Very unfriendly almost hostile to non LOCALS. would NOT recommend

Great proper old fashioned pub. Great beer. No food. Which is fine as it's a proper PUB. Locals all friendly and as I have just moved to the area it's just what i am looking for from a local. Bonus that i won £100 in the Friday tote raffle on my first visit, I will make many more visits.

Great pub, great lady behind bar. Sadly no real ale. They also need to review which taxi service they recommend- Excel are disgustingly priced
