   Function room hire was fine, plenty of space etc, bar staff were super lovely. However manager really made us feel unwelcome and like she didn't want us to even have the event. Wanting to know if we were cancelling the day before? Very rude and not welcoming at all. The bar staff had to do damage control as her attitude towards members of the event were starting to upset people. Did feel better once she actually left for evening and everyone felt more relaxed. Will book elsewhere next time.

   I’ve been here for a few different events - with friends for the evening and it’s been great. Other times I’ve been for the fireworks display with my family, including this year. The fireworks display is amazing and more than worth the cost which is incredibly reasonably priced considering how long the display lasts. It’s safe, secure, busy but not over crowded, well organised, never had an issue and I happily recommend it to everyone.

   Attended a christening here the room looked lovely but all the white drapes need to me taken down for a wash some was yellow some white all different it needs a big wash. All I heard was the manager moaning about things and being very unhelpful the food was OK nothing special. The toilets they are dirty full of damp locks on toliet was no good. Honestly I feel so sorry for the staff that day they was doing everything in there power to help that day but the big bad manager was horrible to them the way she spoke to the staff the staff at one point couldn't even find her she's just disappeared. Not run very good the manage needs some people skills and needs to clean and wash up.

   Attended a function here recently. I liked it. The function room was a decent size and well laid out. Bar well stocked with decent menu too for snacking (nuggets and chips etc). Hardworking pleasant staff. Nice outdoor area. All in all not bad at all

   Took my grandchildren here for the firework display was fantastic the grandchildren loved the fireworks and hot dogs too it was very safe to watch the fireworks and well organised we we'll do this again .

   The room which to wedding reception was really nice the picture window view was amazing. The only thing that let it down was when the guest turned up the wedding party had not arrived & the room in the bar was not big enough for the amount of guest that was there..that was the only downside...

   Hired the smaller function room for a 40th birthday. Communication from booking to the event was great. Everyone who attended had said how they'd enjoyed the evening. Only fault of my own may I add I'd suggest going for more than the silver buffet package as small even for 30 people. But this was my error so cant fault the staff.

   Brilliant little venue, came to a wedding on the 19th of March 2022. To say the kitchen staff were short staffed the meal was amazing also the evening buffet was too. Great staff and great service brilliant evening at a great place

   Brilliant venue. Visited in 19/2/22 for a family wedding do. The function room was decorated beautifully. On this occasion they were understaffed but everyone did an amazing job under pressure, the meal was delicious and the bar staff were excellent. Added bonus - Cornish Rattler on tap!
