1 star is generous. This man over books himself then takes it out on customers. He shouts at his customers then when this is pointed out to him he then shouts louder. This used to be a great garage but since he has taken over things have slipped. Take note of the negative reviews and avoid this garage!
Con men More interested in selling broken cars then ones that run Brought my car in October passed my driving test the other week and the car won’t even start. New battery in it and the same problem. Steer clear of temple street motors unprofessional time wasters
Where do I start... Have known Roy for about 3 years and.. let's say... I WON'T BE GOING BACK! The customer service is getting worse as the years and days go by... Cutting you off before finished speaking, shouting at you.... Having your car for a more than 1 week + and telling you he's fixing your car when he isn't... As he's not even in the garage X3 times and infact the opposite side of the country... Gone to collect salvage cars to fix up and sell! No common courtesy to have basic communication with you especially knowing having I had a brand new baby with me and couple weeks post C-section...... And then overcharges and tells you he's done a specific job but other mechanics like RAC and independent garages take a look and don't see the new part that was said to be changed... Had an engine replacement done and nothing but a NIGHTMARE since! Went back to him to fix some things and he doesn't want to fix it deal with anything. Cars worse than before the engine change.... Books you in for a specific time but has 7+ vehicles at once and then argues with what time he told you when he's the one made the mistake... Mickey Mouse mechanic that CANNOT cope with stress and doing more than thing at once and therefore takes it out on his customers! Didn't want to have to write this but it's the TRUTH unfortunately! His reputation and service has fell WELL BELOW The bar! Stay clear!
I’ve been to this place twice and would recommend Temple Motors. Roy took the time and patience to diagnose the issues with my car. He explained what the problem was clearly and got them fixed in good time and at a reasonable price.
Dealing with Roy is a nightmare I will have a hard time forgetting.. There are plenty of good kind mechanices round here that could use a job and won't patronise or act short with customers or staff. Don't even know about the service because I managed to fix something he refused to do. Stay away people. Far away. Try the next garage. They are bound to have better customer service. Apologies for the harshness but it is only truth.
I try my best to support small businesses but when you get stung it is so upsetting. He changed the ball joints on my car and did a rubbish job, they fell off. A week later my car broke down , ball joints failed causing much damage and inconvenience. I phoned him he did not seem to be bothered, have not heard from him since. Will definitely not recommend this business or use them again so unfortunate. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Rear shock absorbers and head mounts, both sides, on my sons Mazda 3 needed to be replaced after a disastrous pothole event. Thank you Roy, job done on time and within budget. See you next time.

This garage were excellent when I had my catalytic converter stolen. Honest and efficient. Highly recommended.
took my car for MOT at this garage, which then Failed, they wanted £220 repair cost, including new brake pads. too much for an 11 year old car. I dont believe they were honest and just wanted to charge more. I would avoid this garage.
